I was lazy to go down to da bao dinner so i got my sister to just da bao anything from the zi char stall for me. she had the pork rib king rice for dinner and she found it to be pretty good so she da bao that for me. initially when she told me she gotten me the pork rib rice, i winced at the thought of having to remove the bones from the pork ribs. however my sister reassured me there were no bones. indeed there was no bones in sight. the pork ribs were very tender and i love the marinate they coated it with. as a whole, it was satisfying.

It was a weekday afternoon and Paris Baguette was not as crowded as it is on weekends so my girlfriend and i decided to head over for a light tea. I let her go order and choose the cake. She came back with this multi-layered crepe cake. apparently we both thought the name was pretty unique, it was called "oh my baby crepe". the crepe cake was really good. it was not too sweet. they did not add a lot of cream in between the crepe layers. as a whole i am satisfied.

Spending per head: Approximately $8(Tea)

50% discount Smile Feb 20, 2013

Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

This branch every Friday 5pm to 7pm got 50% off all of their drinks. As i was pretty early for my appointment, i decided to get myself a large cup of their SOD ice milk tea. It was so cheap. However i decided to keep my drink till dinner time but the ice cream melted. the drink tasted a lot more milkier. in fact i like the taste like that. the milkier taste came from the melted vanilla ice cream. it made the milk tea taste even smooth and thirst quenching

I was filling kind of thirsty so i decided to hop down to Ding Tea to get myself a cup of bubble tea. i was not in the mood to drink any tea beverage so i settled for their honey lemon juice with aloe vera toppings. the honey lemon juice tasted alright to me, the balance of the sweetness from the honey and the acidity from the lemon was just perfect, never once did i feel it was too sweet or sour for me. the aloe vera was very juicy. as a whole it was thirst quenching.

Not only does Soup Broth Asia sell those normal soup, they also got sell some hotpots. I decided to try their sumo nabe hotpot. the soup was white in colour. when they served it to me, there was a raw egg in the centre. i broke the raw egg yolk so it would cook faster. there were a lot of ingredients in the soup like chicken, chinese cabbage. the soup tasted very milky but it was simply tasty. it absolutely went well with rice!
