Durian Mpire might not be the best durian dessert shop in Singapore but the fact it is located inside Changi Airport T3 makes it my favourite shop!!

Pancakes, puffs, pudding, mochi and more. And as usual I have trouble deciding what I want! The friendly staff suggested Durian Coil ($10) which is like a cake roll with durian filling with durian frosting...

Sitting in the airy and spacious departure hall enjoying my durian dessert might be one of my memorable moment. No one seems to care about me enjoying my "smelly" treat!

Having a durian treat might now be one of my rituals before I fly out of Singapore, thanks to Durian Mpire!!!

Disclaimer: I didn't queue up for my bowl of Fish Slice Soup. But I waited patiently for 30 minute while munching on my Ah Tai Chicken Rice and drinking my Iced Cold Barley Drink while my sister lined up for the soup.

I asked her, if it's worth it... She said she would have done it again?! in the heat! And to prove how much she enjoyed it, she finished all the soup... with nothing left for me while I trying to get her dessert! Not even one mouthful of soup left!

Sliced Fish Soup ($4) has a really delicate flavour and the fish is fresh with good texture. If you prefer, you can requested to add "milk" for a more white creamy broth. But personally, I just prefer the way it is!

Jin Hua Fish Head Beehoon is worth the wait if you love fish. Just be patient or maybe you buy a drink or shaved ice dessert from next stall that will cool you down while you wait!

Yong Tau Foo is located in Food Republic inside Ion Orchard.

While having a time out during my weekend in Singapore, we decided to come to Food Republic to get a snack. It is just not right to be hungry while in Singapore!

My sister ended up ordering a Yong Tau Foo Soup ($6) for us to share. A healthy option as it is really vegetables, tofu, meatballs and whatever you can select from the display. I will definitely recommended to add $1 to upgrade the broth to a spicy one as the plain one tasted pretty bland. The ingredients though were fresh and tasty.

I don't know why there was no Yong Tau Foo (Stuffed tofu) in my soup?!
