Was having dessert with a colleague at this food court. There is quite a variety of dessert at the dessert stall but have got myself a bowl of traditional dessert - tao suan as I wanted something more filling that day.

The tao suan tasted quite alright or rather average. But with the you tiao it actually tasted slightly better. But find that it was slightly sweeter than my liking. Didnt like my dessert to be too sweet. Wish that i could opt for a less sweet tao suan.

This is my first time trying chicken from Popeyes. Well, i bought some home as my lunch when was at Orchard area. Always wanted to buy some home for my mom, but i realised there isnt any outlet in the west area. All the outlets are in the east or central area. And their delivery service is only for east and central area also. Hmm.. Why is it so?
Dont understand.

So decided to get some using of the coupons i received recently from my mailbox. haha.

Well, i think the chicken didnt taste as good as i expected from the impression that i got from the openricer reviews. The chicken meat tasted dry and rather hard, its not juicy at all. Im quite dissapointed.

But the cheese fries were good, really delicious. The fries were so much nicer than any other fast food restaurants that i tried before.

Think i will try out other outlets to see if there is any difference with the chickens.

I got this Chicken terriyaki rice for me and my mom as lunch while running some errands at west mall.

Hmm.. I dont really like it. Find that the terriyaki sauce is too overwhelming, too sweet to my liking. And the chicken tasted quite tough, quite dry. Its dont taste juicy.

But overall, it is still quite acceptable at a reasonable pricing. Cant complain too much,

My dad bought some fan cho for our supper from this Kimly Handmade Tim Sum while he was on his way home from Jurong area.

The fan cho tasted quite nice but normal. It was just a simple fan cho on a simple day. But the portion was slightly bigger than what i normally had before. Not too bad after all.

Was craving for some yong tau foo, so told my brother to dao bao some home for lunch. He da bao from this stall at west mall. I have tried their yong tau foo before, so wasnt expecting much cos didnt really like their soup when i tried it previously.

The ingredients were rather nice and fresh. But I still dont really like their soup. Tasted more like 'msg' soup.
