My friend brought me this popian eating house. Hmm, but im not a po pian person, so didnt try out their signature po pian (which you have to wrap your own po pian)

Anyway, we ordered a few dishes, more like zi char dishes. It was quite nice. But not that good actually as most of the dishes were too salty. Think maybe their po pian should be more popular.

This is a memorable dining moment for me because my friends invited me for lunch as my belated birthday celebration for me. She said this Jap restaurant serve very nice Japanese food.

Ya, I was really excited to try out this place and saw some of our fellow OR rather good reviews abt this restaurant. So was having high expectation abt this restaurant.

When i arrived there, I was rather impressed of the interior design of the restaurant. It was classy, modern, elegant and sophiscated. And the restaurant seems really big to me, with many private dining rooms available which was really exclusive to me.

We were attended by professional and nice waitress and waiter. And when i was given the menu, i was thinking to go for the lunch promo which was so much value for money just only a difference in one lesser course, but the price was a $20 difference. (6 course set - $39.80++ (only for lunch), 7 course set - $59.80++) But my friend was really good to me, told me to go for the 7 course set since it was a birthday celebration for me.

Well, I was very impressed and love the ambience and the presenatation of their food. BUT i wasnt impressed at all with their food. Maybe it was overly rated. The food wasnt good to me at all, I cant even tell you which dish was the best, cos i dont like any of the dishes. Maybe i have choosen the wrong dishes that day. But honestly i was rather dissapointed with their food. It tasted rather average to me.

But the classy and elegant private dining room was really a good place for dates when you need some private place.

Was very reluctant to go this karaoke again, as the drinks that Top One served was really poor, just some syrup with water which tasted really awful. But my friends wanted to sing karaoke for our new year eve celebration, but all ktv charges were rather expensive on new year eve after comparison. So they decided to go to Top One as its considered the cheapest on this day. Knowing that their drinks really cannot make it, we have brought our own drinks secretly. haha.

Was here with a friend, decided to catch up and have some dessert to cool ourselves down on a super hot day.

We enjoyed the rather cozy and traditional ambience there. I have ordered a chendol. It was not too bad, not too sweet and have a nice gula melaka taste. But one thing to take note, i felt that the portion was a little too small for me.

This is my favorite vegetarian mee hoon stall. Cos it is very cheap, rather decent and delicious! Cost only $1.80 per packet.

I ordered some curry vegetables my vegetarian mee hoon. First time trying their curry, it was quite nice. The mee hoon not have much taste as it was quite bland, not oily, not soggy and lighly salted only. So the curry tasted really quite well with mee hoon, but its a pity that the vegetables tasted a bit too 'soft' or soggy for me.
