Just average only... OK Jun 28, 2011

Its been really a long time since i last visited Seoul Garden. I used to go to Seoul Garden during my school days.

I just went there quite recently together with my 'little cousins' during their school holiday. Hmm.. nothing really fascinate me now actually. Maybe my expectations for food is no longer the same. But my 'little cousins' do enjoyed the meal, just like the way i used to enjoy it. haha.

There are quite many variety of food for you to choose from. There are seafood, vegetables, noodles and marinated meat. All tasted quite nice and fresh. Overall, the food is quite average but price might be a little expensive than what i have expected. Not so worth it actually.

I was feeling hungry and grabbed myself a fish burger from this new cake history at clementi mall while passing by after some work.

The fish fillet tasted quite nice and fresh, together with some mayonnaise, sandwiched in between the freshly baked and rather soft bun, it tasted quite good. Overall, Its a rather satisfactory fish burger.

Kway teow not so nice.. OK Jun 26, 2011

I have tried their vegetarian mee hoon and mee previously. This time round i got a vegetarian kway teow. The kway teow tasted quite alright but maybe not as nice as the mee hoon and mee i had previously. And it was quite oily and soggy.

But it is still accepatable for me as it only cost $1.80 per packet. What do you expect? Can't complain too much, right? haha.

This fried kway teow stall was one of the very few stalls that were open during dinner time at this Amoy Street Food Centre. It was actually recommended by a colleague who has rather expectation for fried kway teow. She told me their fried kway teow is nice so i decided to give it a try.

It was around 7pm, you can see that almost everyone is having their fried kway teow! I was thinking, wow, it must be really very nice! I must get myself a plate too.

So got myself a plate. Hmm, i was a little dissapointed that my plate of fried kway teow wasnt very nice. You can see that my plate of kway teow is a bit 'pale' looking, it was not as dark looking as others. It was too soggy and wet and the taste was too bland, not enough sweet sauce.

I believe they must be a lack of consistency of the standard of the fried kway teow. Will still give it a try the next time.

Mango mousse OK Jun 21, 2011
Categories : Bakery

I bought a Mango mousse cake for my friend's birthday celebration just last Saturday while we were celebrating her birthday at Centris.

The cake has a thick layer of mango mousse sandwiched between two thin layers of light finger sponge. I like the mango mousse very much which was naturally sweet and refreshing!

Hmm.. But I do not like the cake layer as it is too dry and 'hard'. I did not expect the cake layer to be in this kind of texture. Would prefer that the cake layers to be softer and more spongy. That would be more perfect.
