Delicious Wanton Mee Smile Apr 09, 2012
Categories : Coffeeshop | Roasted Meat

This is a rather new stall as compared with the rest of the stalls in this coffee shop. So decided to give it a try. Got myself a char siew wanton mee.

I'm not really a wanton mee person but i must admit their wanton mee do suit my taste! The char siew is nicely and freshly cooked or roasted. The wanton were very nicely done too. The skin was very smooth and rather springy. And the meat filling was just right enough and of right amount. It was absolutely fresh and yummy.

And of cos the noodles and vegetables were cooked just nice, the noodles were so springy and tasted so favourful with their gravy. Yummy!

Favorite Chicken Rice Smile Apr 07, 2012

Categories : Hainanese | Coffeeshop

I asked my brother to 'da bao' a packet of chicken rice from my favorite chicken rice stall. Hmm, again my brother forgot to request for the beansprouts. sad (They serve the chicken with beansprouts when you dine there, but will have to request if you are taking away).

But luckily my bother has added in a side dish for me - lemon chicken together with the chicken rice - really special right?) I get to enjoy two different type of chicken with the delicious chicken rice. Both type of chicken were yummy!

Wanted to get some breakfast, and has passed by my favorite vegetarian stall. Was really surprised to see fried 米苔目. I have tried most of their mee, been hoon and kway teow. This was the first time i saw fried 米苔目. So decided to get 2 packets (That were the last 2 packets) phew. Happy that i was there early today. Think usually it was sold out when i was there around early noon.

Wow, i really love this fried 米苔目. It was so springy and 'Q' and tasted so flavourful. Yummy.

Birthday Celebration! OK Mar 31, 2012

Just celebrated my friend's birthday at this place. The place was rather cosy and had rather nice ambience. But i maybe a bit inconvenient for people who dont drive. Its quite out of the place.

The food was rather nice, and at a very reasonable price. Their service was rather good and the staff were all very promt and friendly. Overall, the food almost abt the same as Botak's western food.

Good Chance OK Mar 31, 2012

My friend brought me this popian eating house. Hmm, but im not a po pian person, so didnt try out their signature po pian (which you have to wrap your own po pian)

Anyway, we ordered a few dishes, more like zi char dishes. It was quite nice. But not that good actually as most of the dishes were too salty. Think maybe their po pian should be more popular.
