Oiishi - Tonkichi Japanese food Smile Dec 30, 2010
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Japanese | Ramen

Really love Tonkichi Japanese food, the queue is always so long. But I found that Suntec outlet is not that crowded. And most importantly, suntec outlet has special promotion with Standard Chartered Bank, 15% off total bill using Standard Chartered card, but this promotion is only valid til end of this year, its actually a one year promotion but ending soon. Sad.

Of course, the standard and quality of the food there is good and delicious! You can try most of the set. They are all equally oiishi.

Yummy Traditional cream cakes! Smile Nov 28, 2011

Categories : Bakery | Desserts and Cakes

Got this big box of cakes from my cousin wedding recently. Initially, when i opened up the box, was rather suprised to see the cakes were those traditional fresh cream cakes. From the first look, I wasnt really attracted to it.

But was tempted to have one for my teabreak. Wow, i love it from the first bite. The cake was very soft and fluffy! And the cream was yummy, not that overwhelming creamy type, tasted really fresh and light infact. Not too sweet, just the right sweetness!

I have tried all the flavour and i love them all! Never thought that traditional fresh cream cake can taste so yummy! Highly recommended.

Love this place. Smile May 15, 2011

This restaurant was recently opened at Keong Saik Road in China Town. It offer urban-western cuisine in a contemporary renovated shop house.

My friends and I really love the ambience there. We happened to be there after our christmas dinner at Pink which was also located nearby - tanjong pagar. As we didnt want to continue and have our 'xmas count down' at the Pink. We decided to get out and try to 'source' for another place for our xmas count down, until we came upon this restaurant at the royal peacock hotel.

We were captivated by the comtemporary renovation, so decided to head into the restaurant to have some drinks. We love the place. We felt very comfortable and cosy at the restaurant as there wasnt too many customers (newly opened - so not many people actually know about this place)

Anyway, we didnt have the chance to try out their food as we just had our xmas dinner buffet at the Pink. So we only ordered some beers and drinks instead.

To our surprise, the chef who came from USA actually came out and said hi to us, told us to try his food some other days. Well, we will definitely do so one of these day because we do hope to support the handsome chef! And not fogetting, their service was rather good. smile

I am a mint lover, anyything that has got mint flavour, i would defintely go for the mint flavour one. I love Ben & Jerry's mint chocolate chunks ice cream, its simply yummy! Love their minty taste which is so refreshing, and go very well with their chocolate chunks! It really make you refreshing (bcos of the mint) and feeling sweet (chocolate chunks) at the same time! Slurps!!! tongue

Its been quite a while since i had milkshake from mcdonald. Was having my teabreak with my colleague, and was craving for a milkshake! So I have ordered a strawberry milkshake for myself and a ice lemon tea for my colleague. Wow, the strawberry milkshake is yummy and tasted just like what i had before when i was young! It has actually brought me memories when my parents brought me to Mcdonald for their milkshake when i was little. Quite a nice feeling!
