So i guess it is quite famous as well.
Wanted to try their pancakes for so long🤤they have so many choices originally, however it depends on the store’s availability.
Interestingly, they have both sweet and savory choices. Was gonna go for savory but tempted by the sweet🙈

▶️ Taro coconut pancake ($2.40)
Think this is a special flavour for National day💕
The pancake was quite fluffy and spongy🥞
It also taste buttery and smelled like egg🧈
Have to say the filling was so full that it is flooding out😮
Was quite surprised by the filling, did not expect it to have shredded coconut! Loved how it added to its texture and taste🥥
Taro paste was not too sweet yet you can really taste taro👍🏻
Taro and coconut went well too!
Definitely recommend this special flavour to anyone😍

Found a cafe near southern ridges before going for a hike
The cafe looks really nice in the interior, a good place to relax with friends
Their menus has a large variety of food choices, from all day brunch to pasta to mains to sides to drinks😍
Had difficulty choosing what I wanted, was also hesitating between pancakes/ waffles/ sourdough toast/ baguette

▶️ Egg your way ($8.90)
This allows you to choose how your eggs are made (poached/ scrambled/ sunny- sided)
It also allows you to choose either sourdough toast/ brioche/ baguette🍞
It came with 2 Poached eggs🥚and 3 sourdough toast with a salad🥗
Portion looks great, enough to power you up
They also give you strawberry jam and butter as spread.
Poached eggs are not as runny as they are but still tasted okay, a bit overcooked though😗
Sourdough toast tasted like baguette, slightly toasted
However, it does not taste sour at all and relatively not as chewy… (was thinking is they gave me baguette, yet I asked and they said this is sourdough lol)
But texture is quite soft in the middle and the crust is crispy so I will pass that💕
Added strawberry jam, goes really well with eggs👍🏻
Salad is bit sour with the dressing
Overall, enjoyed this meal!
