1. Roland Restaurant @ Marine ParadeWhat better way to enjoy chilli crab than to have a taste of the original recipe that started the craze? Palm Beach Seafood Restaurant first sold chilli crab in the 1950s, and then the family running it sold the restaurant in 1984. Now it’s operating as Roland Restaurant at Marine Parade, named after the son of the chilli crab recipe creator Madam Cher Yam Tian. In comparison to other versions, the chilli crab here is rather spicy so if you like it hot, you’d appreciate the way Roland does it!

Chomp Chomp BBQ Seafood @ SerangoonFans of chilli crab go out of their way to visit Chomp Chomp BBQ Seafood to satisfy their crustacean craving, even though the wait for a seat is almost always a mood killer! The ingredients that make up the dish here are well-balanced and not too overpowering. Other dishes like the stingray are noteworthy as well so be prepared for a feast when you head down to this hawker stall!
6. Mattar Road Seafood Barbecue @ Old Airport Road Food CentreTucked away in a corner of famous food spot Old Airport Road Food Centre is Mattar Road Seafood Barbecue. The chilli crab gravy consists of peanuts, giving the dish a unique twist. Plus the reasonable prices make this stall a huge hit!
