Food and Drink: This three-storey bar (with indoor and outdoor seats) has more than enough grub to sustain you all throughout the night. For snacks, have a go at the Beef Shish Kebabs ($14.90), Mozarella Cheese Sticks ($10.90), and Calamari ($9.50). Prices of drinks vary but if you’re coming in a group, you can order a jug of your choice of spirit – for only $28. One glass costs about $9.50.

Entertainment: One of the latest additions to the bar scene at Dempsey is Tigerlily, an Asian tapas bar which combines music and booze to come up with a lively bar experience. There’s a special stage set up for bands that come here to play 6 nights a week. Listen to them play the hottest and chart topping hits. If you can’t help it, just dance to the lively beats – no one’s gonna stop you!
Food and Drink: The menu boasts an impressive variation of Asian dishes – from Bombay Chicken Mini Burgers ($14), Chicken Satay Sticks ($11), to the famous Singapore Chilli Crab ($12). Drinks here are also extensive; you can order wines, beers, cocktails, or have the bartender customise your choice of drink.

Entertainment: The famed TAB offers a unique concert experience to its diners. Every night, you can look forward to acts such as live band performances, stand-up comedians, and other artists. For those special nights, the organisers bring featured acts to our shores.
Food and Drink: TAB features a wide array of bar snacks and hearty dishes which are heavily influenced by Asian cuisine. Old favourites such as TAB Burger and TAB Fries are still part of the daily nibbles. The bar can be quite inventive with its cocktails. There’s a wide range of tipples to choose from, but if nothing catches your fancy, ask the bartender to whip up something new for you!
4. The Boiler Room | St. James Powerstation

Entertainment: The Boiler Room comes alive at night, thanks to the in-house cover bands (5 Series and Soul Kool) that play all sorts of music genre – from rock, R&B to pop! From time to time, this pub/bar/club also houses some of the best foreign bands who bring the house down with their hits.
Food and Drink: It has your usual bar bites and drinks to get you through the night. However, the place can get packed and rowdy from midnight to dawn, so putting your orders can take a while to be served.
5. Timbre @ The Arts House

Entertainment: When you want to support the local music scene, Timbre is the destination for you. The best bands from Singapore come here to deliver a lively performance of pop and rock songs. For resident bands, you can always expect bands such as 53A and The Goodfellas to deliver while you sit back in the comfy seats and enjoy the live performance.
Food and Drink: The restaurant & bar has a selection of heartier dishes you can enjoy with drinks. Must try items here are their pizza selection which range from $18 t0 $20. For drinks, drop by from 6pm to 9pm to enjoy the Happy Hour promotion.
6. The Arena | Clarke Quay

For regular nights, you can watch resident band, The Arena All Stars band play Hip Hop and R&B music you can dance along to. After their performance, you can also be entertained with DJs spin Hip Hop and R&B hits. Every 3 to 6 months, the bar welcomes African-American artistes to introduce new music to locals.
Food and Drink: You can expect the usual bar bites and drinks here. For those special nights where they invite bands to play, the entrance fee entitles you to 1 alcoholic drink of your choice.
7. Crazy Elephant | Clarke Quay

Entertainment: Managed by a blues guitarist, Crazy Elephant is a place for true blue house and rock fans. Here, you can listen to music from guest bands such as Mean Jeanne, Good Question, and Skunk Jive. On Sundays, they have the so-called Jam Nights where everyone has the chance to go on stage to jam with the band.
Food and Drink: Drinks go for as low as $12, one of the cheapest in the hip and happenin’ Clarke Quay. Try the cocktails like Ecstasy, Frustration, and Long Island Miami Tea together with the signature bar bites.
8. Wala Wala Café Bar | Holland Village

Entertainment: Wala Wala Cafe is a gem located at Holland Village features live music from up and coming bands in the local scene. For something more laid back, you can also listen to acoustic performances from 7pm to 9pm. Aside from music, you can also look forward to comedy acts here on those special nights.
Food and Drink: Located on the 1st floor of the Café Bar is the main restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of dishes from its menu. Recommended items to try are the Chicken Wings and thin crust pizzas. Mmmmsoogood!
9. Prince of Wales | Little India

Entertainment: Prince of Wales is a backpacker bar which features performances by soon-to-be discovered acts. Expect to be entertained with raw talent and great new music from new bands and solo artists.
Food and Drink: Drinks are definitely cheap here! For a pint of imported brew, you only pay about $10. Food here is also reasonably priced; after all, this place is for those who are on a budget.
10. Obama’s Pub | Tanjong Pagar

Entertainment: The best live acts in Singapore convene to play all sorts of tunes at Obama’s Irish Pub. Some of the regular bands who come here are Back Again, Lucid, and Whisky Tiger. They play diverse music which range from blues to rock to pop.
Food and Drink: Priding itself as an authentic Irish bar, it serves customers traditional flavours from Ireland such as the Beef Stew and Cheese Burger. Wash them down with an array of alcoholic beverages such as beers and cocktails.
