We were looking for a place to eat after our movie at Plaza Singapura and I was suddenly attacked by ramen crave. My partner suggested we go for Ajisen to satisfy my cravings. To make the best value....we decided to go for the set which includes a drink, a side dish and ramen. The fried chicken was too oily. I think they cooked it in lots of oil but didn't strain it properly. The meat, however, was tender and that basically made up for the tons of oil. This dish wasn't too fantastic. It was o

This dish wasn't too fantastic. It was oily on the outside and the tentacles were abit too dry. Had a hard time chewing before I could swallow.

My favorite would be the volcano ramen. Although it was suppose to be a 3 chili ramen, it wasn't too spicy. I normally go for the spicy cha shu ramen (2 chili) so this time round, I decided to go for adventure. The volcano is only slightly spicier than the spicy cha shu....faint hearted can easily consume.

My partner had the cha shu ramen. The broth tasted good and the cha shu was soft enough to melt in your mouth.

Had ajisen ramen for dinner today. Ordered the Volcano Ramen, which was recommended very friendly waitress. It comprises of the Char Siew Ramen with Volcano Sauce and its spicy level was the maximum, level 3. I was eager to try the ramen but requested for the sauce to be served separated so I could get the best of both worlds. It was awesome and I could add the sauce according to my preference. Great lunch!

i tried something new this trip to ajisen. i ordered the pork kimchi ramen. i thought the soup was going to taste very sour due to the ramen, however it tasted anything but sour. the pork gave it a really tasty taste, the kimchi did give is some sweetness. as a whole, the noodles was the hero of the day, qq and springy!

The black ramen is an interesting dish that I have been wanting to try. I ordered the seafood black ramen set which comes with an ala carte side and a drink. The soup does appear to be black when served, but it actually turns brown upon mixing. The ingredients in the ramen includes an egg, crab stick, squids and two scallops. I would love to have more scallops as they were small. The seafood is fresh and sweet. The soup is sweet and has a light salty taste. I picked the dumpling side. The dumpli

The dumpling is pan-fried very nicely. The skin is thin and the meat filling is generous.

For the price you are paying, I think Ajisen Ramen has surpass my expectations. They actually taste quite good, since they are fitting their ramen to suit the taste of Singaporeans. I like their anniversary deal, where it is only $6.90 for one bowl of Spicy Ramen. The spicy ramen is quite delectable, as the soup is just right... not too salty and not too spicy. You can also add in chili powder if you think it is not spicy enough. Ice water is served for free, so eat up! The ramen has this springy taste that I really like... it's quite unlike some places' ramen, where their ramen taste like Maggie Mee. You can even buy Ajisen's brand of ramen home to cook your very own bowl of ramen.

For the price I am paying, I really don't mind dining again at Ajisen Ramen. Even without the deal, it is really quite affordable, with set meals not costing more than $15, and it includes the ramen, a side dish, and a drink.

Ambience wise, I find it quite okay, nothing special to mention though.
