Apacket of Kway Teow Bee Hoon with a fried fish fillet and a sunny side up egg for S$3.10 as my breakfast. This stall is well located as the taxi stand is a waiting area for some company buses as well. Therefore alot of us will pass by this area and have a quite breakfast before boarding taxis/buses.

The packet of food was rather dry but stomach filling, nothing special in particular. Perhaps, the consolation part was its chilli. They use nasi lemak chilli which tastes spicy and sweet. This goes very well with the fried bee hoon kway teow and fish fillet.

I had ordered my fried rice with wu xiang and cause $2.50 in total. I really think it was a good deal as it is quite hard to something filling yet cheap food in Singapore. The fried rice was slightly too dried and quite hard to swallow. Not really suitable for old folk as it will require them to chew more times before they swallow. However, the taste of it was acceptable, neither too salty nor tasteless. The wu xiang was what attracted me the most, it was crispy as it was just been fried.

I made a mistake to order nasi lemak from Ananas Cafe. Should have order my usual bee hoon goreng or fried bee hoon. Firstly the rice does not have the nice fragrance of the usual nasi lemak. Secondly, the rice is too dry and hard. It's like eating overnight rice. The chicken wing is crispy on the outside but must be careful eating it or the crispy flakes on the skin can easily cut the inside of one's mouth. The stall assistant also choose to serve me one egg that looks so awful. The fish cake a

The stall assistant also choose to serve me one egg that looks so awful. The fish cake and chili is nice. Another point noted is they don't give cucumber to add on with the chili. Makes my meal seems quite unhealthy without even the slightest bit of vegetable.

As I was hungry, I ordered a mixed bee hoon noodle with chili and its tasted average. The beehoon is too dry while the noodle is too oily. It left an oily grease on my mouth after eating. The only good part about this is its chili! It’s fantastic. Once I ate the chili, it will make me crave for more and as it is very spicy, it goes well with the bland bee hoon noodle!
