Astons Express (Closed)

Noticed this Astons joint at an unexpected place which is along upper serangoon road near Kovan MRT station. The food are usual Aston's standard. I really like their chicken dishes which are grilled nicely. The sides they offer are also really wide range, from healthy choices such as garden vegetables to more unhealthy choices like potato wedges and fries. Though the place is not air conditioned but the food was worth it.

This is one of the places that I have been visiting for the past few years for delicious and affordable western food. Best of all, they won't charge you the ridiculous 10% service charge at some of the branches, unlike some other restaurants that will charge you a 10% service charge when they have absolutely no services at all. I still remember that they only used to have a branch at Katong only, but over the past few years, they have been opening a branch after another and now I could say that

I had this at Astons Express. Due to its close proximity to my home, I regularly eat here. This time I ordered a hickory bbq chicken with onion rings and baked potato. I really really enjoyed the hickory bbq sauce, it was a little salty, but I love it flavourful so it is really my thing. The chicken was well done, still full of juice. once again a group of us went to aston for dinnerwe had Prime Ribeye steak this roundits med rare.. with whole corn which was really sweet.. and smashed potatowe also ordered the lemon chicken and grilled chickenwith a mixed variety of sides.. fries .. onion rings.. bbq beansso on and forthi love their grilled lemon chicken.. the lemon sauce taste really good!

almost forgotten to take picture,haha i heard friend said nice so came to try went during dinner time,so there's abit long queuewaited for about 10-15mins & about 20mins for the foodordered the chicken set main dishes comes with two sides ,i chose fries & baked potatotheir fries was sprinkled with some orangy powder,not bad the chicken was soft but i don't like the sauceabit tasteless to me,if they can improve their sauce it would be betteroverall i rate 5/10 for this

I love astons! their chicken are always cooked just right! it is so tender and juicy, not tough at all. the bbq hickory is a must order! the bbq sauce taste really good, not too sweet not too salty. i love to order corn on the cob as one of my side dish, they are very generous to actually give the whole corn and price wise, totally reasonable!
