Phad thai is something like fried kway tiao in Singapore but their kway tiao is thinner than our local fried kway tiao. The phad thai was too oily. There were three small prawns that were not fresh. There were also typical ingredients like eggs, tao gay, chopped peanut at the side, chilli powder and a lime. It was not at all nice and it costs $4.50. I was unable to finish the entire plate as the taste was really disappointing. continue reading

Again, I ate at this Thai stall nearby my house. I ordered different dish with last time, rice was my choice. I paid upon the time I placed my order, then the staff will serve the food to us.That’s right, they used the Number Plate to indicate what food to be delivered to which table. Ours was Number 17, we were patiently waiting our food to come. It took some time, understandable because there was only one chef to prepare the food. Here’s mine, it was little bit purple in colour. They said Olive was good for health, but I was not sure what the actual colour was in fact. Honestly, it was still okay and not salty. Minced garlic helped to release the aroma hidden within. Seafood in Fried Rice was fresh, portion was sufficient. Chicken floss on top was fluffy and Thai-style Chilli tasted sourly spicy was also not bad. It was only $4.00 which I felt was quite reasonable. continue reading
