I love eating this Chee Kuay from Bedok sometimes the queue will be very long depends on the timing! My girl love this as well so both of us order 8pcs to share for lunch. 8 pcs for only $2 very cheap! But the cai por was kinda oily but it was so yummy that I can't resists for not having it! The kuay it self was very soft and is really nice eating it while is out from the steamer! Thumbs up!

Bought 6 pieces of the chwee kuey during lunch from Bedok Shui Guo stall to share with my friends. Chwee kuey is usually very oily because of the taupok which is soaked inside the oil... so sinful but it taste so good (thats why they always say tasty food are unhealthy). The white chwee kuey itself is soft and melts in your mouth, doesn't required much chewing. The combination with the chili makes this dish a more tasty one. Good!

4 pieces for $1. Works out 25 cents per piece, still cheap by any food standard. Needed a filler snack cos didn't had enough for dinner and still feeling hungry. I feel that 4 pieces was just nice to fill up the stomach and not feeling bloated from eating too much. I should say that that chye por was good not too salty and crunchy too. The texture of the shui guo was good very soft and fragrant. Mixed it with the chilli provided it tasted so good especially when it's fresh from the steaming pot.

One of my chweeeeeee kueh cravings came about and being in the bedok area, the only one that came to mind was this stall and with so much hype about it on OpenRice, it definitely tastes as good as mentioned! I tabaoed home , it tasted even better while it's still hot infront of my favourite hangout : the TV/computer.Soft and fragrant kueh and the topping omg it's flavourful, crunchy and makes you wonder how did you get such a great tasting dish under $2! total classic.

I was wondering what kind of name Jin Mu was.
I obviously have an issue with my eyesight.
It's glaringly obvious that the signboard reads
Jimmy.
Should've known an ang mo name wouldn't do justice to my cheenah char kway teow.

Dismal right?
I know.
And my blood cockles had sand in them.
Oh Jimmy.

Then along came Qing Tian.
Oh it totally brought along clear skies to my dismal dinner attempt.
Dramatic I know.
But,

Now you see what I mean?
Just randomly, the Samsung SIII makes me perfectly confident without a compact camera.
It takes awesome pictures on the auto setting.
And back to the popiah that saved the day.
Long queues at this popiah stall that shares a stall space with Qing Tian Niang Dou Fu #01-58.
It was full on ingredients and full on flavour.
A mouthful of yum!

And just because Dad said that no trip to Bedok is complete without Bedok Chwee Kueh 勿洛水粿.
He's my best friend.
For best friends know exactly what you love to eat.

With the affordable price of 4 for $1, 6 for $1.50, 8 for $2, It's catered for people of different appetite! The lady might seem unapproachable, but she is morr than willing to add more cai po. As sinful as it looks, the fragrance and sweetness is unparellel to others. Highly recommended to eat straight away! Even if you need to pack it home, you may still pack the ingredients separately and bring home.

4 pcs for $1. Value for money breakfast. I walk pass the hawker center every morning on my way to work. Usually I will buy 10 packets for my office colleagues if the queue is not too long. The kueh is very soft and they are very generous with the chai poh toppings which is extremely oily, the brown paper used for wrapping the chwee kueh would be soaked with oil after 10 to 15 mins. It is best to buy and eat them immediately when it is still piping hot.

This stall is one of the Shui Guo stall that is very generous with their Cai Pok. After finishing all your Shui Guo, you still have extra Cai Pok to indulge. After all, eating Shui Guo is all about the Cai Pok and Shui Guo without Cai Pok is kind of upsetting. I hate it when the stall give minimum Cai Pok that by the time you eat the 3rd Shui Guo, you don't have any Cai Pok for the 4th Shui Guo.This stall here you don't have to negotiate for Cai Pok!

The queue of this stall is never ending. No matter what time you go , there will also be people queuing at this stall. They work in a systematic way, where 1 auntie will scoop the 'cai po' and the other auntie will take out the guo from the metal casing. They are quite efficient , so you do not have to wait too long even if need to queue. The auntie is really generous with the 'cai po' as you can see from the picture. The auntie is really generous with the 'cai po' as you can see from the picture. The 'cai po' does taste oily but it is really fragrance, so I do not mind putting extra weight after eating. Price is reasonable as it cost only SGD1 for 4 pieces of guo. Highly recommended.
