I had the waffles with the strawberry cheesecake and some chocolate ice cream costing about $14.90.... Well the service is so-so.. though the service the chicks were there but sometimes they made need a little more service orientation... now this was way back when Ben and Jerries were having auditions for bands...

It was one hell of an experience... It was pretty hilarious actually.... looking back during my polytechnic days.

Ben & Jerry is well known for its seriously crazy funky ice cream names and flavour and somehow from the outlet itself tastes so much nicer than buying a pint off the shelves in supermarkets... 9 April 2013 is the annual Free Cone Day by Ben & Jerry's. I was there near lunch. The queue was pretty long but manageable. I only waited for 15 minutes to get my free cone. There are a total of 5 flavors : Chocolate Therapy, Strawberry Cheesecake, Maple Tree Hugger, Toffee-Do-Crunch, Lemonade Sorbet. I tried the Toffee-Do-Crunch and fallen in love with it. Ben and Jerry's is a well known US brand and popular amongst many Singaporeans. The flavours are always interesting, the servers are always cheerful and the atmosphere is always good. Unfortunately, the price is rather high so such treats are for special occasions. We tried the yoghurt berries and they were somewhat, perhaps 60%, authentic. The waffles were not that freshly baked though and more effort could have gone in. All in all, not bad.

The ice cream is creamy, thick and rich in the coffee aroma. There isn't any hint of coffee bitterness at all (which I was hoping there will be) but it is still one of the better coffee ice creams that I had. I would think non coffee lovers can give this a try too.

The staff were polite and pleasant, and asked if I wanted cups or cones. I requested for one cup and one cone. Although I was not buying anything, the staff did not try to pester me to buy the ice-cream.

The new flavour was too sweet, in my opinion. It tastes just like the Macdonald's maple syrup or you can imagine it like the taste of gula melaka. There were bits of brown sugar in it. It is quite refreshing to eat cos' I like to eat sweet stuff

 I will only recommend this flavour to people who have a sugar tooth! This joint is also a good place for people who want to do their homework while eating ice-cream, or groups of friends who want to just hang out for the whole afternoon.


P/S: It will be better if they provide water dispenser and tissue like Tom's Palette ^^

I love how their chocolate ice creams are very different from others.
Theirs is always thick and full of cocoa. An extremely rich and full of taste.

I was craving some ice cream and since Ben and Jerry's is the nearest place to have ice creams, my hubby decide to oblige me even though they are rather expensive. I went for the good old chocolate flavour and I was not disappointed with the chocolate at all. It is really thick and intense and it gave me a chocolate high with the large amount of cocoa. I tried out the coffee coffee flavour of Ben & Jerrys recently, since my hubby was in the mood for icecream,which we both shared. I must say, its creamy, thick, rich, sticky & sweet. Coffee generally acts as an instant energizer, the ice cream too helped energise us on a lazy afternoon. It had a lovely strong coffee flavour. Im a great fan of Ben & jerry's & I think their ice creams are the RICH. A little expensive compared to normal ice creams, but worth it :-).

It states that we can have our ice-cream for only $6 for each movie ticket shown. So we went in and quickly ordered for it.
