the breads at the paragon branch are slightly different to other branches as this is the "silver" branch. the breads are more catered to western tastes. the variety is more european and denser. some of the breads are so dense, it takes a lot of effort to chew and bite off. however, we generally love the breads here. this one is dates and figs, which is unique and great. it's very sweet though. good with butter. costs about $2

Breadtalk is one of my favourite confectionary shops as they are always so innovative and created many different kinds of interesting bread and pastries which can cater for people like me who love to try new food. Their nacho cheese bread is also one of them which is very nice and creative. The thick cheese cream is very fragrant and goes really well with their quality fluffy bread. It has been quite sometime since I brought from Breadtalk and I was suddenly craving the Flosss bread. I recalled seeing an outlet in Paragon, and hence went there since I was at far east. I went for the normal Flosss this time again and ate it the next morning. It made for a very comforting breakfast, with generous amount of floss on top of the bread and I liked that the bread is still very soft and fluffy even after one day.

Bread Talk at Paragon is considered "Silver" which is supposed to be better than the normal Bread Talk branches. It is a bit different in the sense that they serve different varieties of breads and cakes here, which are not found in other branches.

The macarons here are much better than the Takashimaya Bread Talk ones. Not sure why? They must be baked in-store maybe?

The bread variety here is also more gourmet and varied with more European tastes. There are also more cakes here and the displays are nicer. The presentation of the cakes here is much better than at other branches. The shop is also slightly more spacious than other branches although it's still pretty crampy when there's lots of people.

The clientele is obviously more well-to-do as they dress differently as well.

The quality and variety of food here is definitely the best out of all Bread Talk places I've been to. I was impressed by their cakes and their macarons. The macarons still need a little bit of improvement but it's better than the ones in their other branches.

Their Strawberry cakes made from Korean strawberries are supposed to be their specialty this month and they are pretty generous with their strawberries in some of their cakes. The cakes tates pretty good and the presentation is pretty good too.

For cakes and macarons, the Paragon branch is the better option due to better quality and presentation. For breads, the quality is the same as at other stores, but the taste and variety is better here. Still don't like their oily trays and tongs.

My mum bought me a fish-shaped bread from BreadTalk. Again, its in the theme of CNY and this fish was supposedly a carp! I had it for breakfast and it tasted not bad! Inside the fish was filled with sweet yam and even the carp's tail was filled with yam paste! Almost didn't bare to give it a bite but after one mouth, I nibbled off its tail. Not to forget, the carp's eye was made of chocolate chip! What an interesting flavor..
