Chewy Junior (Closed)

Still not satisfied after taking two round of meal, I bought Doughnuts for supper. Very exaggerate right, don’t be surprised, I was ‘’big eater’’ especially when I was in a good mood. It was 10:30pm ++, the stall was closing down soon. Yet, there was no any extra offer or promotion. I bought two chewy buns finally, Lemon Cheese Lover ($1.90) and Chocolate Fudge ($1.50). Both of them were freshly baked chewy cream puff. I will try other flavours next time.

Normally priced between $1.40 to $1.90 each, they go for $6.90 per half dozen towards closing time. My parents got a box of 6 chewy juniors in the refridgerator. However, by the time I got home, only the Blueberry cheese one was left! I'm not complaining though. The puff was crispy on the outside, and as its name suggests, it was chewy on the inside. I love the blueberry jam on the top, as its sweetness is just right. The vanilla cream cheese filling on the inside is tasty and sufficient for the size of the puff. The puff is also cheap as well, and def worth a try!

I think chewy donut in general is quite a good snack because it'll leave you very full after eating just one piece. I had the chocolate and blueberry flavours. The flavour of the cream stuffed in the puff and chocolate and vanilla respectively. This time, the donut was a little to hard to bite. But still, I love the toppings and the cream in it! Got this for after dinner dessert with my family; got 6pcs and got 1 for free. Premium Honeydew flavor - really don't taste as premium as it's priceCotton cheese - Smooth creamy cheese and thin puff pastryOverall their standard dropped over time; their puff pastry use to be thicker and that balances the filling but now the skin is thinner and the ratio is like 80% cream 20% pastry. Bonus for people who likes cream but i would recommend this for people going on a diet.

i was given the task to drive to Raffles City Chewy Junior to buy a box of 6 pieces of chewy junior puffs to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I was told to get different flavors so as to make the box look more colourful. After the blowing of candle, we each took a piece to eat. Wonderful tea time again! We bought Chewy Junior at Raffles City Shopping as we attending a conference at there. Chewy Junior is just conveniently located near City Hall MRT. I tried before, buying it at Bugis Junction. It basically has five main categories, there are Sweet, Savoury, Mini Puff, Premium and Cotton Cheese. exactly as the name suggests. chewy. because it is so sweet! very sticky as well. this lemon flavour is nice. more refreshing than most flavours. but the sweetness can be too cloying. the sticky gel icing on top is where the flavour comes in. nice presentation and they give out samples too. i would prefer this to most cupcakes in singapore, but still, it is overly sickeningly sweet. costs about $2.50

Recently i like to eat chewy junior They have a lot of flavours to choose from,I remembered last time was not so expensive but now,1 can cost up to $1.70Usually i will buy box of 6 for $9 The texture of the buns was very QQ,indeed very chewy among all,i like the chocolate the most,chocolate on top was so creamy & rich While inside have cream ,They have released a new flavour "char siew" It tasted quite weird,OVerall i rate 7/10

Before I actually tried it out, I was wondering why they were called 'chewy'. (Don't every food requires chewing?)Anyway, they reminded me of donuts as their similarity was both had toppings on them. The only thing differentwas that inside them contained fillings too! Either chocolate cream or cream that would oozed out upon biting. Thetexture looked rocky but it wasn't that hard. They were indeed chewy, to an extend that after I ate 2, my jaw felt heavyand lazy to continue the chewing job.

I was shopping around and came across a chewy junior. I decided to grab some home. I bought the apple jam flavor with cheese cream. The apple jam is like those you find in apple pie. The apple jam is not too sweet. The apple cubes is a little sour too. the puff is so chewy, love the texture. The cream inside is so fragrant, got this buttery taste too. one puff is simply so filling, with so much toppings and fillings inside, it is so delicious.

I was tempted into getting one after trying out a free sample of the puff. This is my second time buying Chewy Junior. Because wanna share with friends,so i bought many type of flavour.Their inside contained of fillings are quite sweet. i am actually quite satisfied with the taste and also the price.Some cream in the puff was coffee flavoured and there is chocolate on the exterior of the puff. It was very delicious. However, some flavour is really too sweet.

Its often crowded during the peak-hours.They always give for some test on..this really attract lots people.I like the puff.because it is crispy outside and soft inside.They taste soft and chewy because of the crust and mix with the sweet flavours,it is very nice..! (:Sometimes, they are too chewy that you will feel tired of chewing after having 2 of them.but i am actually quite satisfied with the taste and also the price.

This donut shop is very popular especially amongst the younger generation. The flour of the donut is chewy and taste good with the cream on top which could be meringue made from egg white and touted to be fat free. The rice crispy sprinkled on top of the donuts adds texture and crispy-ness to each bite. Overall, a recommended store for all to try especially those with a sweet tooth or craving for a good dessert.
