I was looking to have some chinese desserts and it was nice that there was dessert story nearby. I am quite a fan of mango pomelo sago, and so far Ah Chew has one of the better pomelo sagos. I tried the mango pomelo sago from Dessert Story and it was good - mango puree was thick and mango taste rich and fragrant; however, they could have given a more generous serving of pomelo bits. Overall a nice dessert.

When comes to sweet dessert it's one of my favorite. I just love the way this dessert was served, the ice was shaved thinly to form snow type of texture. I ordered the mango snow ice. When the dessert being served I can the the mango in the snow on top of the real mango topping. The mango tasted sweet, while the snow ice taste soft and when it reaches in the mouth it will melt. Cost - $4.20

This outlet located at century square basement one has a small sitting area for its customers. I ordered mango shaved ice and steamed milk pudding to share with my son.My son loved the mango shaved ice and finished the whole tub by himself, I only get to taste one mouthful of that. The mango pieces tasted fresh and sweet, and I find the shaved ice had a nice smell and tasted sweet too, I think they must have added some kind of syrup to it.I ate the steam milk pudding and felt sick of it after

I ordered mango shaved ice and steamed milk pudding to share with my son.

The mango pieces tasted fresh and sweet, and I find the shaved ice had a nice smell and tasted sweet too, I think they must have added some kind of syrup to it.

I ate the steam milk pudding and felt sick of it after eating a few mouthful. I just don't like it.

For $2.80 per bowl, each tang yuan soup is served with the soup base and 5 balls of tang yuan (peanut and sesame stuffed). The ginger base soup has a bland ginger taste and not as strong as I would hope it to be. The tuan yuan skin is soft and easy to chew and a burst of peanuts/sesame with each bite. The filling of the tang yuan is not too sweet and hence I would recommend the tang yuan for people who like desserts. Apart from the small serving, soup base and price, the tang yuan are still worth

This dessert stall serves quite a variety of dessert. It also sells mango pomelo sago which is one of my favourite desserts so decided to see the quality. I was sceptical of the taste when i saw how it was prepared. The dessert was taken out from the fridge and chipped ice was just added. Upon tasting, it still has the refreshing taste and the serving of mango was pretty generous. Importantly, I think the dessert is not very sweet. I was there quite late in the night perhaps it was closing hence

I was there quite late in the night perhaps it was closing hence the preparation was not the standard way.

We were looking for a place to sit down and have some food and decided on Dessert Story. I had their steam milk dessert that is a type of hot dessert. Personally, I find the dessert was too thick for my liking. It was sweet though but as it was too thick, you will get sick of it even before you are half way through. The portion is quite big though. I would prefer the texture to be softer and not so thick, like those I tried in Macau. However, the ones here is not like that. Quite disappointed.
