Pig's stomach soup, S$4.00 added with mee sua sums up to S$4.50.The bowl of soup is filled with the richness of pig's stomach. The parts are well managed and prepared by the ladies as they have no signs of pork's smell. Cooked to tenderness, easily chewed and does not have the feel of "biting rubber". One thing about the soup that we may not like is it's peppery spice, I would prefer something lighter in pepper taste.Besides selling this, Dong Dong do offers Pig's trotter, bak kut teh (cleared v

Besides selling this, Dong Dong do offers Pig's trotter, bak kut teh (cleared version), braised pork belly, curry chicken and other side dishes. This stall has a unique combination of food sold. I was quite tempted to grab some as I see plates of braised chap chai (mixed vegetables) was ordered by people in the front queue but giving a second thought that my stomach could not contain so much for lunch, its better i give it a miss.

The food center gets very packed during Tuesdays especially and it took me quite sometime to get a seats of 4 together with my colleagues. For those who prefer heavier meals, do go for their pig's trotter, bak kut teh with rice and side dishes.

Kung Pow Chicken or Gong Bao Ji Ding is a famous Sichuan dish. It include diced chicken, cashew nuts and plenty of dried chillies to add on to the spiciness of the chicken as the Sichuanese are fond of eating spicy food. Came across this stall that was still opened around 9pm + (alot of the stalls were already closed) and realised that they not only sell fish soup, but also Claypot cuisine and miniwok. So tried this Kung Pow Chicken rice in Mini Wok.

Instead of cashew nuts, capsicum and onions were used. The chicken were diced to bite size pieces and the dried chillies were added in approximation so it is not too spicy. To add on to make this dish more healthy, the auntie even added tomato and lettuces without the need for me to request for more vegetable.

I find this dish reasonable for its price and quite nice for dinner. Will go back again for their other dishes.
