Signature Dishes
During december last year, for our family's christmas celebration, we bought a cake from Emicakes, specifically the White Christmas Glamour Tiramisu log cake. The log cake is best suited for 8 people with no remainder. The cake itself is covered with white cream on the exterior while the interior is thin layers of vanilla sponge cake and cream cheese plus coffee cream fusion filling. While the cake is quite delicious, I felt that the tiramisu taste did not really come out. It simply lacking in the taste which you will expect in a tiramisu cake. I guess the coffee concentration is too weak.

I had won some Emicakes vouchers from an FB father's day contest, 2 months back. One day when we were in Clementi, we decided to head to Emicakes & try out their cakes. This is the first time we visited emicakes & we were so amazed with their range of mini cakes, so we picked up an assortment of a few mini cakes. The totally chocolate was indeed totally chocolate, it was chocolaty,creamy & rich. The mini oreomissu, had a lovely oreo base & a yummy cream cheese filling. The mini ultimate brownie was utterly chocolaty & was topped with a piece of brownie & bits of brownies inside. The mocha mousse was yummy mildly coffee flavoured mousse. We also tried a strawberry mouse which had a mild strawberry flavour & was yum I loved all the mini's & can't decide which was better . The pictures are not so appealing since we brought them home & they melted on the way. The mini's at Emicakes are really cheap 1.5-2$ each.

These mini cup cakes from Emicakes are best to be served during parties, gatherings and company functions. Like to buy it as it is really hygiene, which all cakes are packed in the mini plastic cup with cover sealed on top of it. The portion is not much which is very ideal for me who is really worried of over eating the junk food and putting on weight. Like to eat their tirimisu cup cake which has many different layers of cofee cream, smooth sponge cakes and fresh cream topped on it. It is not too sweet and really fragrant too.

There's many reasons to buy egg-less cake . Some is because they are allergy to eggs, some are vegetarians and can't eat eggs. Emicakes knows about these worries and they are rather specialize in their egg-less cakes. Try it and you wouldn't even know that no eggs was added cause it was just as spongy and fluffy. This cake ordered is called Mango Premium and the mango fillings are really generous. It really makes a wonderful and delightful birthday cake.

Wondering what cake you need to buy for loves one? If he/she can take Durian, then go for the Durian cake by Emicakes. It’s quite expensive compare to normal cakes, even more expensive than Secret Recipe. I chose Premium D24 Durian Cake because that’s the only Durian cake available that day. Lucky The shopkeeper advised us to put it in the freezer. Take it out 2 hours before consume it. She also advised me to finish it in 3 days. Good service and nice smile. The cake is soft, and the durian that in between the cakes are really good because it’s the mixture of real durian and a bit of cream I suppose. The aroma of the durian will stay in your mouth for quite long. Rinse your mouth before you go out
