Fancy a dinner without needing to squeeze or queue for your food. Try this EspresSOUP at Jurong Point Level 2, Between JP1 and JP2. The restaurant is kinda "open" but not much of the crowd passes by this area. Our food was served rather fast. We ordered the signature soup with the square bread top up and a chicken bacon burger. The staff took initiative to help us 'upgrade' our order so that we can enjoy savings and an extra cup of ice lemon tea. It will be even better if the staff can notify us

Our food was served rather fast. We ordered the signature soup with the square bread top up and a chicken bacon burger. The staff took initiative to help us 'upgrade' our order so that we can enjoy savings and an extra cup of ice lemon tea. It will be even better if the staff can notify us beforehand, rather than do it by himself. But small issue here.

The mushroom soup is flavourful and smooth. The square bread presentation is of cos one of their main selling point, although it is essentially just plain bread.

However the burger is quite standard and nothing special to note.

The portion of my pumpkin meal is very filling portion. Initially I was thinking how to eat them up. I guessed the best way to eat was to tear the the bread from the bread bowl and dip it in the other bowl when you finished drinking the soup from the bread bowl.

Overall I find that espresSoup is just a novelty treat and since its launch, I have only patronize once. Although there are no other specialized soups competitors in the mall, it would be less likely that I will go there again.

espresSoup had this lunch/tea offer until 6p.m, where a set meal costs only $5!My friend and I decided to try this store since we're a fan of soup.I ordered a minestrone soup and wanted to get the pasta but it was sold out, anyway don't despise how a small portion it looks! My friend ordered the clam chowder, which I tasted a spoon or two and I thought it was a lot better than the minestrone soup I ordered. Mine was extremely salty after eating almost half of it!

I also decided to order an extra piece of crepe, and it tasted tough and not chewy. I don't think I'm going back again because it's not really to my liking. Also, the open-concept store is placed in the middle of two walkways so if you need a conversation in private, it feels quite uneasy as passersby can just stand around and look at you eat.

I really love the friendly service that the staff provided though, they're willing to go the extra mile and even went through with me what each soup contains and what is the bestseller, etc.!

Chicken - something soup.
- Yeah I can't remember the name of this one, but I will never order it again. The chicken meat wasn't tender enough(and they give you plenty of that), the soup was just full of spice. It's hot, hot, hot. Can that even be labelled as soup? Gosh.

Okay, overall espresSOUP is just similar to "Soup Spoon". Nothing special to comment about it, except that it might just be a tiny bit cheaper.

I decided to have something light for lunch since I had a heavy breakfast. I chanced upon Expresssoup and decide to try it since it is just what I need as it has breads and soups. There is quite a variety of different soups, but I settled for the mushroom soup since that is a soup which I can never get tired of. The soup is quite creamy and there are little specks of mushroom in it. I preferred having more bite so the little specks of mushroom did not really appeal to me. I have had much better

I have had much better mushroom soups so I would probably try to avoid this next time since it isn’t really worth the money.

I was walking around jurong point with my girlfriend and we spotted a new stall selling soup. their concept is somewhat similar to soup spoon. We decided to give it a try. The soup came in two servings, one in the bread bowl, the other in another container. The cream of mushroom soup is indeed tasty. the soup itself is so thick, not watery at all. The flavours of the mushroom is so strong and appetitizing. The bread bowl is really good, the soup seeps into the bread and when you cut it, you can dip the bread into the soup. the bread becomes very moist and delicious. I absolutely love it! I strongly recommend to take the bread bowl, it is worth the additional $2.
