Tried this ban mian for the first time. Very rude service provided by the female staff with short colored hair. Seems like the staff are more interested in cooking their own lunches then to prepare customers' orders. No sense of urgency and the female staff was so reluctant to pack my takeaway lunch. Consumed the noodles 10mins later. So average, should never eat here again.

I tried the soup version once but no particular impression then. I came back this time to have the dry version for lunch. There was 2 queues right in front of the stall. The first queue is to order and the second queue is for collection. You might not noticed it if close attention is not paid but the lady behind the cash register kept calling 'ORDER HERE!' so you would not missed out. I wanted their dry version of Signature Ban Mian with slices of pork belly for $4.50. I was not asked the option of spicy and non-spicy but there are chilli paste and red cut chilli for self-service.

There was only a person manning 2 induction stoves cooking the orders so the waiting is expected to be longer.

I waited for about 15 minutes to order and to collect it. When i was done taking pictures then i realised the noodle has clumped together. It required a certain effort to toss it well without breaking the noodle.

The sauce mix tasted rather average. It definitely not the best that i ever tasted but it was pretty alright. The sliced pork belly tasted surprisingly good. It was thinly sliced with a good ratio of fat and lean meat to give it the desirable tenderness. It tasted a bit like those sliced pork belly for Shabu Shabu but of a lower grade.

That handful of fried ikan belis was a bit too hard though crispy.

The soup has a delightful sweetness. There was an egg in it. It was meant to be a poached egg but the soup was not hot enough to cook it so the egg yolk turned out to be rather raw. I guess some might not like it at all.

Though not the best choice but not too bad an option for a light and rather healthy lunch.

Saw this newly decorated shop with bright white signboards when i was at the coffeeshop buying the curry puff. And decided to buy a bowl of you mian to try. Bought the you mian because I couldn't make up my mind of what to eat - there are too many choices of ban mian. The broth is sweet and most people use minced pork in the you mian but the pork here are sliced differently. The other different thing about this stall is i noticed they use the hot plate to cook, instead of gas. Surprisingly that the food is tasty! And their chilli is not diluted like most of the stalls, the chilli here is thick and spicy.

I'm a huge fan of ban mian. I don't know why - maybe it's the wholesome broth, or the lovely bits of pork, or the salty ikan bilis to munch on.I was here to try the Pork Belly Ban Mian ($4+). I've had pork bits and pork balls in my ban mian, but never pork belly. It was really awesome! I liked the fact that the pork belly was finely sliced and very tender. The soup was also extremely light, something that's very crucial, or else you'd feel like your meal's "too much". In fact, it was so light, I

In fact, it was so light, I didn't have that bloated feeling after, like how I'd usually feel after finishing a bowl.

I wanna come back for more!

Initially I was a bit sceptical cause did not really try a Pork Belly Ban Mian before but it was really delicious I must say. I ordered the soup one. There is also a choice for the dry one. The broth is flavoursome and rich in taste. I love the chilli as well. You must grab the chilli when you eat at this place. The chilli is fresh and goes really well with the Ban Mian. The chilli is not the usual watery kind that you eat with Ban Mian elsewhere. Will definitely go back to this Ban Mian place and perhaps try their other Ban Mians.

The decor of this Ban Mian stall is quite impressive. They have 2 pillars with their signs up in lights! Hard to miss it especially it's from a small food court in AMK. I ordered the Pork Belly Ban Mian which sounds super good! The pork belly is like strips of bacon and the ban mian is cooked just nice. Soup is not too salty and tasted refreshing. The overall taste is quite good and you don't feel overly full as there doesn't seem to be much MSG.

Today is my first visit to Face Ban Mian 非板面. My friend told me about this new Ban Mian at Ang Mo Kio so we decided to try it out. We ordered three types of Ban Mian, Classic Ban Mian, Classic Ban Mian - Dry & Tom Yum Ban Mian.I love the soup base for Tom Yum, it was not spicy at all yet you can taste it like Tom Yum. Yummy! Overall, the Ban Mian is worth trying. It is like a new creation or enhancement for Ban Mian Lover.
