For a sunday brunch, my family decided to visit the whampoa hawker centre to eat my fathers' favourite kway chap. We normall order extra noodles for just $1, it makes the dish so much better. I really enjoy just eating the noodles and sipping the gravvy. The uncle gives you so much dried onions which gives the dish a crispy bite size thing to chew on. The intestines are so soft and juicy. The intestines are so soft and juicy. To those of you who think eating intestines are disgusting, try one and then re-comment!! It is sweet and yet salty! The sauce itself from the noodles adds to the flavour of the intestines. The egg has also been braised so it has a nice taste to it.

I strongly recommend you to give this stall a try if you are visiting the area. The uncle is very friendly, do strike a conversation with him!

The signboard says its famous Bedok Kway Chap so die die must try. A set cost $3.50The texture of the kway very smooth and soft. The braise sauce that comes with it not too salty and herby. The set comes with an egg, pork skin, intestine, tau pok and fatty pork. Well the egg tasted ok not too hard as in overcooked. The pork skin very tender and most importantly not served hairy, the sliced pork thick when I had a bite it was easy to bite. The intestine did not tasted funny. Tau pok was ok.Overa

Overall for the cost of $3.50 I got the basic set which was enough for 1 person.

The different types of braised pig intestines from this stall are really delicious and I always cannot help but to order my second serving after I completed the first plate. Love to eat the small pig intestines as they are very chewy and smooth in texture. The stall owner has really make the effort to clean these parts well which does not have any unpleasant smell in it. The broad kway teow are also smooth and delicious too.

I ordered this out of curiosity. The signboard said 'Famous Kway Chap' so i expected them to be good. I ordered this side dish to go along the handmade noodle that i ordered from the famous stall. A good portion of a mixture of braised meat, small / big intestine, braised egg, tau pok were well braised. I will be interested to order a bowl of their kway chap to go with it next time. It has no weird taste but tasted delicious. I enjoyed it.
