The Seafood phad thai costs $5.50 and is surprisingly good. Sometimes, the phad thai may be too sweet because they put too much sugar(?). Thankfully, this isn't. The egg is average-tasting. An affordable place to satisfy cravings for thai food

There seems to be two Thai stores side by side but they are the same stores selling Thai food. They sell a lot of Thai dishes ranging from pineapple rice to tom yum hot pot. I decided to try their Pad Thai one day and waited a while the chef cooked on the spot. The set comes with a free tom yum soup and I really like it! The tom yum soup is more of a sour taste than spicy. The soup is so addictive that you would not stop drinking it once you start. Tip: You could ask for more soup. Pad ThaiI lik

Pad Thai
I like their pad thai too as it is not sticky. I mix it well with the peanut and it tasted nice. They are also generous with their ingredients as there are prawns, bean sprouts, etc.

the flavours of the thai curry here is too simple. we're used to more complex flavours. there is so much chillies in this green curry they might as well call it chilli curry. they dumped whole red chillies in there. not much vegetables - i can count it all on one hand. the gravy was super spicy. so spicy that you can't taste anything but chilli. there was only a couple of pieces of chicken in there. the rice was unflavourful but neccessary or the spiciness might kill us. about $6

Not sure why they are "famous" but it's really not that great. We make better green curry at home than this! Costs about $6.50. Not much meat in there at all. Only 1 or 2 chunks. And also only 1 or 2 chunks of vegetables. Really empty gravy. The gravy itself is nothing special and the whole red chilli just makes it over spicy. Comes with rice which is not fragrant. Very disappointing.

i went to concorde food court for dinner with my sister. I decided to try the thai food there. The thai stall actually extends to two stalls but were manned by people of the same family. I ordered their stir fry beef rice. they gave me a bowl of soup. when I first looked at the soup, I thought it was normal chicken soup, but when I dig in, it was actually clear tom yum soup. the soup was more sour than spicy, it really opens up your appetite. The beef was so tender, it was sliced pretty thinly.

The tom yum soup was not too bad, it had sliced mushroom inside. It was not too spicy and a little sour. The papaya salad was not as sour as I expected it to be, but it did taste very crunchy and sweetish. I was very satisfied with the food, the portion of the chicken was very generous as well.

Being a fan of desserts, I will not miss out on the red ruby shaved ice at Famous Thai Cuisine whenever I patron the shop. It costs around $10 for a bowl of it. There is a combination of red ruby, shaved ice, mango and coconut milk. It is a must try!
