Fika Swedish Café & Bistro is a really cute and cozy café situated at Haji Lane. It makes a great place for dining and chilling. I ordered the grilled chicken crepe served warm with tomato and cheese. It costs $15.90 for the meal. The crepe is crispy but moist, the chicken serving is generous and the meal taste great overall.

Was having a craving for ikea swedish food, but my friend told me she has another place which also offers swedish food and decided to go over to try. And indeed, the food here are really nice and they really satisfy your cravings for meatballs and others. Though the price of some of the food are more expensive, but it is worth a try.

think of swedish food, where will you go? ikea? no, try fika. ikea is too overcrowded at dinner times and weekend, head over to FIKA. here they serve quality swedish food that will satisfy that meatball craving of yours. you cannot help but compare them with ikea, well that's for my case cos the only swedish restaurant i been to is ikea restaurant. thanks to my friend's kind introduction, when anyone say swedish meatball, FIKA comes to m mind. their meatball is really awesome, juicy and bouncy.

their meatball is really awesome, juicy and bouncy. when you take a bite, the meatball is very tasty. i love the gravy too, goes well with the meatball, bringing out the tastiness of the meatball.

i strongly reccommend this place for really good sweddish meatballs!

Fika serves really good meat balls which come with homemade cream sauce, garden greens, parsley potatoes and lingonberry jam. It costs $16.90 which I feel it’s really worth the money. The restaurant is set in a cosy feel which makes one feel at home. Located along the main road in Haji Lane, you definitely won’t miss the shop when you pass by Haji Lane.

Stepping into the cafe on a sunny early afternoon, we were greeted with a spot casually bustling with people. We sniffed into the air and promptly announced, "This place smells just like (the restaurant side of) IKEA!"

Service was pretty quick and prompt. Michelle ordered Kopparberg's Pear Cider ($6.50). Camy picked Honest Ice Tea - Black Forest Berry ($6.50). M picked Honest Ice FruitAde - Cranberry Lemonade ($6.50). One can always get a cup of Iced Water (refillable) for $0.50.

Michelle had the Aglio Olio ($13.90). It was enjoyed muchly and quickly, notably having the kick needed for the dish but isn't painfully spicy. The Aglio Olio at Fika is served plain and additional ingredients that goes into it will be charged.

Camy had Swedish Meatballs ($16.90) which came with cream sauce, lingonberry sauce and sides of half a potato and salad. The meatballs were more floury than those at IKEA, which I felt gave them a more homemade feel - contestable I realize but flour is necessary when you are making meat patties, no?

M ordered the Swedish Hash ($17.90) which was a nice skillet of potatoes, beef & onions topped with a sunny side up. It was a pretty dish with a similar palette of taste to the meatballs, so be sure to order something else if you're going for a varied platter of tastes when sharing with friends.

We had the Lingonberry cheesecake ($7.50). Go for this if you're on for rich decadent cheesecake. I felt this had an interesting slightly powdery aftertaste, which I'm not too sure what to make of but I enjoyed it enough.

We also ordered the Swedish Pancakes ($9.90) which was essentially crepes served with whipped cream, jam and vanilla. I felt this dish offered too milky a palette with both vanilla and whipped cream, but perhaps dairy fans might've enjoyed it better.

Make a reservation (a must!) and bring your best buddies along for a lazy weekend brunch.

我们在Fika 享受了一呈心灵之旅。

I wanted to try something different for to mark another year of my life.

Fika seems a great choice given that it is a Swedish Cafe and i have not tried Swedish food before.
It is centrally located and the ambience is just nice.

We went over for lunch on a Monday and there were already 3 groups having their lunch there.

Ambience: It is a quaint and cosy place and the decoration is really nice, made up of mostly white furniture.

Food: We ordered the Grilled Salmon and the Swedish Meatballs.
The Grilled Salmon is nothing to be raved about however i love the Meatballs!

My Fiance first thought the serving won't be enough for him cos there werent many meatballs anyway
but boy were we surprised at how full we were.

But then again, it could be the potatoes we ate (we ate lots of it!)

We also order the Cheesy Wedges and it does taste great but not as different as any wedges served in other western stalls.

The Mushroom soup was great though and totally handmade.

It was an overall good experience but i don't feel it is any different from any other western restaurants.

However, i would come back because of the good service and the ambience.

Signature Smoked Salmon Salad ($15.90+)
Without hesitation, I had their signature smoked salmon salad . The Salad looks lovely – mixed mesclun salad in the centre and thick & fresh slices of Smoked salmon neatly rolled up & arranged around the corners & served with a lemon wedgeAmong all the Smoked Salmon Salad that I had this year, this is the best ! Unlike some places which simply garnish the salad with some miserable pieces of smoked salmon, Fika was generous with the smoked salmon. The smoked salmon pieces were fresh and thick ( 5 pcs weighing abt 50-60g each ) , it was so delicious when eaten with the dollop of cream served by the side. For those who loved smoked salmon, this salad will definitely satisfy your craving !
P.S Too much Smoked salmon, felt a little jerlat alrdy…
