This stall seems to have a long queue so and I think it will be good to try and see what's the rave about! I ordered the seafood fried noodles ($6.80) as the person infront of me ordered the beef one and I thought it looks really good!! The noodles are cooked on the spot when ordered. However, the noodles looked and smelled good but the taste wasn't that great. It tasted rather salty to me. It just seems like a lot of black soy sauce was used to cook this plate of noodles. However, the noodles looked and smelled good but the taste wasn't that great. It tasted rather salty to me. It just seems like a lot of black soy sauce was used to cook this plate of noodles. But one good thing is that there's quite a lot of vegetables and it took some saltiness away. There's fishcake and prawns as well. The prawns are quite fresh and nice though.

First time to 313's food court and I tried the chicken dao xiao mian ($6)! This stall seems to have a long queue so my friend and I joined the queue. And it seems to look really nice as the chefs cooked the food on the spot upon order. What fascinated me was the part when the chef used his knife and shaved each strand of noodles one by one using a big block of kneaded flour! No two strand of noodles are the same. What fascinated me was the part when the chef used his knife and shaved each strand of noodles one by one using a big block of kneaded flour! No two strand of noodles are the same. My noodles turned out to be a tad too thick for my liking though. I thought the chicken would be chicken bits but it came in a form of stirred fried drumsticks, which was probably why the soup was oily. But the chicken gave some taste to the soup. I didn't have much vegetables in my soup too. I guess the queue was long because everyone saw the long queue and thought it will be nice. But I thought that the noodles were just average except that it's handmade!

But I'll probably go back and try the ban mian though! There's 10% discount for passion card members and safra card members.

So i tried my luck today at 313@Somerset's Food Republic. I made a friend of mine to asked if they had other alternatives other than pork and they are able to replace the pork with chicken. i hear a choir saying 'Hallelujah'. Yes finallaaay

It was lunch time and the food court was like buzzing with crowds.. mostly office people.. there was a long q for this stall but the wait was not more than 10 mins and I had like 7 customers ahead of me. So the wait was bearable. I was easily entertained by the cook preparing the noodles. Looks cool.

The handmade ban mian noodle were smooth and chewy, they retained their bite all the way. The soup was clear looking and intensely rich in flavors. Their soft sily leaves and crispy ikan bilis complements the soup nicely. It was just heavenly and orgasmic. LOVE IT!

Homemade noodle! Must be original and healthy. The seller kept promoting that their noodles were natural without MSG. I guess it's worth a try. As usual, I looked for non-pork dish. Then I saw their specialty, 'Diao Xiao Mian'. I was wondering what was that. Then I saw this chef taking a lump of dough and started slicing small strips into a pot of boiling water. That's why it's called 'Diao Xiao Mian', noodle sliced by knife. I thought of ordering it but my daughter wanted the handmade 'You Mian

So I ordered the 'You Mian' cooked the same way as the 'Diao Xiao Mian'.

The soup was salty because of the mushrooms used to cook it. It tasted naturally, without MSG. There were 3 chicken drumplets, very salty. Overall was good.

I didn't manage to catch the chef in action.
