There are quite a few good hawker food stalls at Wisma Atria's Food Republic but this is my first time trying the Dim Sum here. I ordered a Lor Mai Gai 糯米雞($6), steamed glutinous rice, that comes packed with lots of ingredients. There are Chinese sausages, chicken slices and mushrooms all mixed together with sticky glutinous rice that is steamed to perfection. I'm quite surprised to find rather good dim sum at a food court, but of course it is on the pricey side compared to the other food stalls

I also ordered myself a Char Siew Sou 叉燒酥 ($3.20). While the bbq pork meat is not as flavourful as the ones you would get at a high-end Chinese restaurant, I thought that it was comparable to the ones you can get at Crystal Jade Bakery. The baked skin was crumbly and sweet, with savoury slices of char siew inside. Mmmm.. yummy!

Decide to order some ala carte dim sum for lunch!I had the craving for Liu Sha Bao suddenly First time eating the Liu Sha Bao from Fortune Restaurant. It's very yummy with the salted egg yolk flowing out when you bite in! Their Egg Tart is good too, not too sweet!Love the crust of the tart.As for the Pork Bun i love the fluffy bread! It was filled with generous portion of cha siew However i wouldn't recommend the fried prawn dumpling, i find it to oily Overall everything's great

Went around vivocity trying to look for dimsum for dinner but sadly all the good chinese restaurants stop their dimsum before dinner. Remembered there was fortune Restaurant at the food republic so we went there.. wasnt disappointed at all! The girls chose the food for all to share so we took the usual like siewmai, har gow, beancurd skin roll and phoenix claws. I would say that generally ingredients were fresh, prawns were big and succulent. But the real highlight was the durian prawn fried rol

The girls chose the food for all to share so we took the usual like siewmai, har gow, beancurd skin roll and phoenix claws. I would say that generally ingredients were fresh, prawns were big and succulent. But the real highlight was the durian prawn fried roll! Its really quite special. As you can see from the picture, its sort of like fried meesua rolled in with durian and prawns in it. Its like a variation of the more usual mango-prawn rolls. the combination actually went quite well and there was even a tad too much durian! It was certainly filling but i felt it could probably worked more as a dessert. You should probably try it if you havent!

Was here meeting my friends for lunch at Vivo. My friends proposed to have our lunch at this food court as we can get to choose from a wide variety of food.We ordered some dim sum to share. We got some har kau, siew mai and some prawn rolls - not too sure what was that called.I like especially the har kau - prawn dumpling. The prawn was rather fresh and the skin was rather 'Q' in texture. Its yummy.
