I prefer gelato to icecream as I like the milky texture and I find it denser and hence more flavourful! I've always wanted to try their Rose Gelato, which is shaped literally like a rose! This Gelato store at the basement of Tampines Mall offers a wide variety of flavours to choose from! My mom & I decided to takeaway one tub and we got the dark chocolate and hazelnut flavour. Eaten on its own, the hazelnut flavour is nice with a tinge of nutty flavour, but when eaten at the same time with the dark chocolate, it just becomes very bland and I can't taste the hazelnut flavour anymore. Simply irresistible.This brought me back to our European vacation in Rome where my family tasted the first Italiano Ice Cream long before Gelato was introduced in Singapore. The shop very near to Trevi Fountain (location where the movie Three Coins in the Fountain was filmed ). No cones just small cup with a plastic spoon.I ordered two scoops of fresh fruit Gelato from Tampines Mall.Chose the Passion Fruit and Green Tea flavour.
