Genki Sushi is one of the places I love recommending to people who are looking for some unconventional experience while enjoying sushi. If you love Japanese cuisine - in particular sushi, it's unlikely that you haven't heard of this place. I was back at Genki Sushi for dinner the other day. this time round, i went to the orchard central branch. Anyway, i really love the concept of mini toy trains sending food over to your table. it is just so cute!ordered different dishes this time round also, my favorite will be the smoked salmon sushi! it taste really good. Sushi at Genki has never failed to impress me, especially from this outlet as it is more spacious and comfortable. The waitress here are also friendly and service here is prompt and efficient. Enjoyed the egg sushi which the thick egg omelette is fresh and soft in texture. The japanese rice used in their sushi is firm and chewy. Their sashimi are also super fresh and the portion ss quite thick in slices too. At merely less than $10 for three plates of sushi is really valued for money.

As seen from the title, it's my first time to Genki Sushi! & I love this place more than Sakae. At Genki, you order what you want from an Ipad Mini, and the food will be send right to your table via a train/car in less than 2 mins (From what I've experience during the off peak period. Genki Sushi is a place which I will highly recommend all to go because of its very interesting conveyor belt. The food orders arrive in little trains and it is really interesting to watch. Genki Sushi is quite crowded and is likely you have to queue for sometime before you get a seat especially during peak hours. This place is really popular! The service staff are generally very friendly. Just that at times they might get overwhelmed so it's hard to get their attention. But who cares! You got a mobile train/car that sends you your food! We ordered the Salmon Triple Flavour and a lot of other makis. The ingredients are fresh and does not have the "left on the conveyor belt" taste.

Genki Sushi is the very first sushi I tried 10-20 years ao when they were at Forum Gallery! Talking about technology, Genki Sushi has one of the most innovative ordering methods. Each table is equipped with one iPad preloaded with their very own application, which you order your food directly from the device. Your dishes will be delivered promptly right to you in a mini shinkansen (bullet train) on it's "railway track". Had dinner here with a friend a few weeks back. I've been to Genki Sushi quite often as I find that their sushi are rather fresh. Unlike the usual Japanese restaurants where your sushi goes round and round the conveyor belt, the sushi here is made-to-serve and arrives fresh on a cute train or race car, straight from the kitchen. Their fried Onsen Egg was rather special too - fried crispy on the outside and the egg is still a little gooey inside.

Very nice and affordable sushi. the best dish is the three flavoured salmon sushi. They also have the tempura egg, salmon skin and it is freshly deep fried with mayonnaise sauce. very fresh sashimi and i only spent less than 20 dollars for it. there is also three flavoured crab meat and also three flavoured prawns. they all taste really really good. its a must try
