Just like the Typical Chinese Rojak (Goh Hiong / Wu Xiang), one is to choose their favourite staff from the display and hand over to the shop helpers to warm them up again.
Since it was lunch time during my time of visit, the guy who was manning the stall was as busy as a bee. There were customers non stop and he had to fried the selected food items plate after plate thus his expression on face was not looking too good.
Sauce given was warm and not too spicy. The fried stuff were crunchy and was rather fresh to me. One thing about its cuttlefish was its texture, it tasted quite soft and more like pig's skin than the sea creature.
Overall, I would say that the taste was average and price falls within market's standard.

I went during lunch. There was a queue at this stall. I guess their foods must be of a certain standard to attract the crowd. I waited for a while to order and get my foods. First bite. It did not manage to impress. The foods tasted quite mediocre. Some of the ingredients like tau kwa did not taste too fresh. They managed to fry it well so not oily at all. Their sauce tasted a bit too sweet. I would rather have it on its own without the sauce.

Pasir Panang FC is my nearest food center so I figure I should try everything there at least once! I should admit that this was my first time trying Indian Rojak.... the plate in the photo cost about $5. It was fine, but nothing special. I guess it would have been better if the pieces were hotter and crispier. The chili sauce was a bit disappointing... tasted like the stuff from a bottle, but starchier. The friends I was eating with said they've had better at other hawker centres, so I gues

That said, the fruit rojak stall at Pasir Panjang FC is one of my favorites

It seems to be there is always a queue around this stall during lunch time. I had wanted to try this stall but was turn off by the queue. I was lucky to arrive earlier and was able to order without queuing. Habib Rojak serves typical india rojak which you can choose the items and they will fry and cut the item for you. The items arrive nice and crispy but a bit oily and the dipping sauce is also good.

I have tried the better ones out there so i am definite i would not be back.

Indian Rojak is quite a pleasure with a good mix of healthy and not-so healthy (deep fried) ingredients.I chanced upon this stall at Pasir Panjang Food Centre and thought it was worth trying since it was their specialty. It did not disappoint as the ingredients were fresh and the sauce had a good balance of sweet and spicy. The fried items did was not soggy or oil laden and the dish was very enjoyable overall
