I was having lunch at The Star Vista and i ordered this set which comes with fish and pork but I told the staff i did not want the fish. Thus i only had the pork and was only charged $4.90 for the set. Talk about flexibility! Anyway the set was quite filling on the whole, with the generous amount of pork katsus. The set came with miso soup which completes the meal. But like so many Japanese food stalls in food courts and restaurants alike, it does not really differentiate itself from one or the

Anyway the set was quite filling on the whole, with the generous amount of pork katsus. The set came with miso soup which completes the meal. But like so many Japanese food stalls in food courts and restaurants alike, it does not really differentiate itself from one or the other. The pork katsu was quite juicy though a bit tough to bite, meaning it is quite chewy. I appreciate the fact that they gave some mayonnaise to pair with the otherwise quite dry meat.

At 9+, this was one of the stalls still pretty much open for business so I thought hey why not.hai's serves an array of teppanyaki dishes with a staggering variety of permutations of chicken/fish, squid, curry etc. I opted for the Curry Chicken set at $5! Most of the sets here range from $5 and up, depending on the meat/seafood.The sizzling hotplate of curry teppanyaki chicken was really scalding hot! The sticky japanese rice went beautifully with the golden, thick curry gravy. With an egg crack

The sizzling hotplate of curry teppanyaki chicken was really scalding hot! The sticky japanese rice went beautifully with the golden, thick curry gravy. With an egg cracked on top, it was perfect! I found it slightly odd though, that the rice, egg and gravy were way hotter than the chicken itself.... Hmm.. Other that the oddness of this temperature disparity, the curry was pretty good. One thing to know though, it kind of coagulates (very slightly) when cold, so eat it up quickly! The soup had seaweed and egg in it -nothing much to rave about here.

Would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a curry fix -it's also an excellent hot meal for a cold day
