If you love to eat local dessert, this chendol from Food Republic is definitely a 'must not be missed' dessert in your list. At only two dollars and forty cents per glass, you will feel that it's worth spending your money on as the portion is really big. The brown sugar used in this dessert is really fragrant and sweet. Love their green agar-agar strips which are very chewy and fresh. The coconut seeds and the cooked red bean are very tasty too. The coconut milk used in it is really generous i

My mom bought a takeaway box of tao suan home this late afternoon. It was nice as this stall doesn't serve too starchy ones and the mung beans in it were still crunchy. They also gave sliced you tiao in a plastic bag, they compliment the hot dessert really well, giving a savory touch to the sweet dessert. The sugar level was just nice too. Yummy!
