Today was invited for Japanese food treat. So visited Causeway and at level 5. Go for this resturant, we ordered 2 special set. Katsutake Tai nabe gozen and Ichiban Gozen. Went Woodland Causeway for sight seeing, try this resturant at level 5 Ichiban Boshi. We ordered their recommendation spicy ika garl teri, Cereal Tori Karaage and Raspberry Rapture drink. This was my first time dining at ichiban boshi, and i ordered a Stir fried beef with rice bento. As it was a value meal, it was priced only at $7.90. The rice was normal white rice, quite soft and sticky. The beef was stir fried with caramelised onions and a piece of lettuce. Decided to try japanese cuisine when i was at causeway point yesterday! Ordered a Teriyaki salmon with multigrain rice., priced at around $9.80. You will be given a receipt with the queue number upon ordering and once your food is ready, your number will be called upon for you to get your food at the counter. Ichiban has lots of good Japanese food. It's my families favorite place for comfort Japanese food at reasonable prices. One dish we enjoyed was the chicken karage. Te chicken pieces were so juicy and moist even though they had been fried to a crisp. Each piece was just the right size so that the ratio of crunch to soft chicken is just right. Slightly fatty the chicken pieces had good flavour. A must try!
