Island Creamery (Closed)

Decided to went to island creamery with my friends to have their dessert! Love the ambience thr as the walls were filled with many group pictures. I ordered their mud pie at around $5.50 and it was extremely delicious!! The mud pie is made of layers of chocolate, cookies and cream,burnt caramel ice cream with oreo cookie crumbs. It is just like an ice cream cake but is the best i had ever eaten! Highly recommended and a must try if you decided to go to island creamery

the mudpie here is the best dessert in the whole of singapore it has thick layers of fresh ice cream topped with crunchy chocolate shell and the most delicious oreo chunks. the dessert is especially good when topped with lots of malted milk powder(milo) for extra chocolatey taste and delicious malt flavour. I had pulut hitam ice cream here last night! The ice cream is really very unique and delicious! I am not a huge fan of pulut hitam, but i really like the coconutty flavour of the ice cream with the pieces of cooked rice embedded within for contrast in texture. The ice cream costs $5.20 for a double scoop which isnt that expensive either. Also try the apple pie ice cream! its really unique.

Nyx decided to try their Baked Alaska. At first, it does not really looked appealing to me. The staff told us that the outerwas meringue and after hearing that word, the 1st thing that came in my mind was SUGAR! I decided to skip that as myoption straight away. This waffle is just normal,nothing special.As the look,the waffle is not crispy,it is quite soft and wet.So it not very nice. But the icecream is quite ok.It is quite creamy but is a bit too sweet for me.Although the icecream is quite nice and the honey also.I still dont like this kind of soft waffle.I prefer the crispy one,so that it taste not so wet with the icecream.

Was craving for ice cream so i went to my favourite island creamery wanting to order my favourite reverso but to my disappointment, it was almost finishing and the lady said it would not be enough for one scoop and advised me to pick another flavour instead. It was only 2pm when i went so i also cannot understand why is it that it is already sold out so quickly!!! So i decided to pick cookies and cream and it was alright. My all time favourite has to be Very Berry. The ice cream is always soft and creamy with a nice milky taste. Pieces of frozen berries can be found in the ice cream itself. This has been the best as compared to the rest out there. It is really an enjoyment in eating it. The service level is rather good in the Holland Village outlet. I am interested to try out their other flavours the next time.
