I ordered a Una don and a serving of the Grill salmon sushi. Green tea is served for free here!

Una don $12.00++
The unagi was good...although it looks smaller piece than the photo in the menu...it was soft and flavorful and melts in the mouth good!

Soy Sauce Grill salmon sushi $0.80++
This was good too...dissolves instantly in the mouth and was fresh!

I need to mention the miso soup here...it is not the usual miso paste with added hot water mixture...it was very flavorful and had bits of meat inside...thumbs up!

Service here was decent. Reservation highly recommended for peak hours dining.

Itacho has a wide variety of sushi, and its sushi can be considered better than average, compared to sakae which is rather mediocre. I had their soft shell crab handroll - crab was crispy, but I prefer the one from sushi tei. I also had the soya sauce salmon, roasted fatty salmon and roasted scallops sushi. The soya sauce salmon costs only 40 cents. Their sushi is fresh and good, especially the fatty salmon one, as the salmon was very fresh.

Chawanmushi is a must-try at every Japanese meal you have anywhere as everyone has their own secret recipe. I really love this smooth chawanmushi that seems to slide down my throat ;P Itacho Sushi also serves nice sushi too. Try their salmon sushi! The seafood is fresh and the rice complement the salmon so well that it is practically a work of art. xD Furthermore, the price is reasonable!

There is always a long queue outside Itacho at all its branches, so it's best to avoid peak dining hours, especially dinner time. I decided to try the dish with eel and egg pieces, was average and there was nothing special about the sauce used. Also tried the udon; soup broth was very thick and flavourful, and the meat was not too fatty, however, portion was a little small. Will try more of their sushi in future.

Try the fresh salmon there if you can take raw food. The salmon is nice, its soft and smooth like can literally slip down your throat. i just love eating it. And, the sushi there is nice too , try them. I like the egg roll sushi, i think. Its quite ordinary and plain and "cheap" in a sense of ingredient but i just love it. The egg just makes the sushi taste even more sweeter . It just goes well thats why.

The queue here is quite long and we were given the time limit to finish eating before 3 pm when we reached at 1 pm. We wanted to order the 0.40 sushi but it was already out of stock at an early timing. Water also costs $1. The sushi here is quite over rated and taste normal as other Japanese restaurants. Tried the pork curry rice but the meat is quite little. Overall a little disappointed.

This is my favourite Japanese Restaurant after having tried at so many other restaurants.I'd eat at least 2 servings (3 slices/serving) of the fatty salmon (priced at $5.50) when I visit Itacho! There's always a queue there, so you'd want to go early. You can call for reservations, but you'd have to spend a minimum of $100.Fresh food! But the environment is a little noisy though, as it's mostly packed. There's a promotion now at JCube's Itacho, where some of the yummy sushis are selling at 80c/pie

There's a promotion now at JCube's Itacho, where some of the yummy sushis are selling at 80c/piece. You can only place the order after 9pm though. And they close pretty early (9.30pm on weekdays, not sure about weekends.

Service can be a little slow, especially for Plaza Sing branch. Price wise, it's a little pricier than your average run-of-the-mill Japanese restaurants. I usually spend above $30 per pax when I'm there.

Went to do some stuff at Dhoby Ghaut with roommate and we decided to have lunch at Itacho Sushi as my roommate never tried before. There was a long queue, luckily we were not that hungry, but the shop did not let us wait too long. The service was quite good.I had ordered the teriyaki chicken. The texture of chicken was tender and the sauce tasted just nice for me. The sweetness and saltiness of the dish was just nice.

This bowl of udon soup is quite tasteless and I am actually quite disappointed with it. The soup base was really clear and not much flavouring or seasoning are added to it. The thinly sliced white carrots also do not give much taste to this bowl of udon. The presentation is really plain and unattracted. Fortunately the price of it is not really that high, if not I will be more annoy about it.

The sashimi and sushi were all really fresh. I loved the sushi that was wrapped with mango slices and avocado slices. It tasted really refreshing and fresh! We have ordered their freshly grinded wasabi which tasted really nice and different from the wasabi i had before. It went really well with the sashimi! Oiishi! though it is a bit expensive, i will still patronise again because of the food quality food.

Had lunch over at Itacho on a weekday. There was queue, but wait wasn't too long. Firstly, would like to highlight that customer service was a mixed bag. It really depends on who served you, so that ought to be improved on. The Tonkatsu Don and Grilled Eel with Scrambled Egg is similar except the topping is different. The Tonkatsu has pork cutlet while the latter is Grilled Eel. The dish is tasty but too much sauce topping were added making it too salty even though I eat it with rice.

Firstly, would like to highlight that customer service was a mixed bag. It really depends on who served you, so that ought to be improved on.

We ordered the following Sushi~ Salmon with Soy Sauce, Swordfish, Cod Liver with Scallop, Grilled Unagi, Tamago, Yellow Tail (Original, Black Truffle Sauce, Black Truffle Oil), Aburi Fatty Salmon, Aburi Salmon, Grilled Pork, Scallop.

The Grilled Unagi Sushi, Aburi Fatty Salmon Sushi and Scallop Sushi were nice. Grilled Unagi Sushi was rich in flavour and tender on the inside. It would be better if it was crisp on the outside. Next, the Scallop Sushi was really sweet and juicy. Finally, the Aburi Fatty Salmon Sushi was the best out of the lot. It was seared just right and the texture and flavour were both very smooth.

The Salmon with Soy Sauce Sushi, Tamago Sushi, Grilled Pork, Yellow Tail Sushi were alright but average at best. The Salmon with Soy Sauce Sushi, I've got to admit, was a steal at only $0.40 per piece.

The Swordfish sushi was quite a disappointment. At $3.50 per piece, I would have expected something of higher quality, freshness and consistency.

Overall, meal was good but not excellent.

In my opinion, Itacho sushi has the best and freshest sashimi in Singapore. After all the times i've been to Itacho, i have yet to find anything that wasn't impressive. Every slice of sashimi i had was fresh and thats a consistency thats hard to maintain. My advice is not to order main courses like the rice or noodles, instead, just feast on sashimi along and trust me, it costs just a teeny weeny bit more but its 100% more satisfying.Do also try their chawamushi- its even better than the ichiban

The staff are also very friendly. I like to sit at the sushi table infront of the chef. If they aren't too busy, you can strike up a conversation with them, get them to recommend your next dish and also to give you tips about how best to go about eating sashimi or what each sort of fish tastes like.
