Best chocolate cake in Singapore!

Forever a stickler for desserts, my sweet tooth led me to this shop on the main stretch of Jalan Kayu. In comparison to other retail chocolate lines, I'd say that the cakes here are firstly, more value for money, and secondly, I prefer the texture. It's lighter, springier and less dense.

 The cake isn't too sweet, it's a perfect sweetness. It has a lovely springy texture that's wonderfully light, yet chocolatey. Chocolate fans will be glad to hear that the chocolate icing is absolutely divine. It evenly covers the entire cake and the cake itself is layered with it. The icing isn't cloying, nor does it make the cake disgustingly sweet. It gives it a smooth and creamy feel and rounds off any meal perfectly. You can never be too full for chocolate cake.

 We got the largest chocolate cake (i dont remember the dimensions but it's a pretty huge size) at $36. It's a real steal given the size + quality of it, you couldn't get a better cake elsewhere at such a fantastic price! It's the perfect chocolate cake in my opinion. A pity they don't sell by slice so if you want a piece of this heavenly goodness you'd have to buy the entire cake!

This always came amongst one of the recommendations whenever i asked for chocolate cake. This shop is along Jalan Kayu and its signboard is quite distinctive so hard to miss. The chocolate fudge cake tasted good and chocolaty, the sponge cake layer was soft and moist. The sweetnesss level was just right and not overly rich. This is a good choice for chocolate lover.

I bought the whole choco fudge cake from Jane's cake station back home for my family to try as i had heard good recommendation from the people around me. And true enough, the cake was really really tasty with a strong taste of chocolate. The chocolate sponge cake was moist and soft. One of the best chocolate cake i have ever eaten, and i will definitely be back to try the other type of cake.

The cake is incredibly light & moist, the chocolate fudge is sufficiently chocolatey without being too rich & overall it’s not too sweet.
Instead of selling cakes by weight, here they go by sizes
Overall i rate 8/10

Bought a cake from jane's cake station last week to celebrate our friend's birthday. The cake was so chocolately that every bite was saturated with chocolate goodness. However, too much of it was a little sick for me, so good to have a big group of friends to share the cake nevertheless, it was really good chocolate, do try it out if you've never done so

Attempted to try the highly recommended Choco Fudge Cake.

It tasted marvelous. I love the thick chocolate taste and not overly sweet, the sponge cake in between fudge was exceptionally light and moist. More importantly, you do not feel sinful after eating it.


They do not sell the cake in slices, so if want to try then you gotta buy the whole cake.

Taste is subjective, some people do think it's very much overrated.
