Nothing much to give praises about, except that its affordable japanese food without any queue. sometimes they take really long to cook certain meals.. the only delicious part of the meal is the fried Ebi prawns! The Ebi prawns come with the set meal, which costs $4.80. lightly battered and deep fried, its crisp and golden brown aroma is rather fulfilling!I LOVE to add the additional egg for $2. its soft and juicy, not watery like others. The udon is a little low-quality, taste like the NTUC one w

The udon is a little low-quality, taste like the NTUC one where you can bring home to cook.

Have a chicken teriyaki for lunch but it turns out to be like fried cutlet chicken. Even is fried, chicken is not so crispy although the sauce is tasty and generous serving.  As for the rice is abit too dry and not that sticky as is hard.  Soup is tasteless. Add on with a chawanmushi for $1 dollar. Taste is completely bland and the ingredient in it is not so much and isn't that hot unlike others does it. Spent $5.50 for it.

To satisfy my Japanese cuisine cravings, I was somewhere along Yew Tee and somehow chanced upon this shop. There were no queue in sight but the chef took a REALLY REALLY long time cooking up this $5.90 Salmon + Teriyaki Chicken dish. There is also the seaweed soup which I don't think it's picture-worthy, and I really feel that the cashier could help by putting the rice so that the chef could just concentrate in cooking the salmon and chicken. The rice was slightly burnt, and I added the sesame see

The rice was slightly burnt, and I added the sesame seeds on my own. It was a medium-grade Japanese rice, thus not very fluffy, dry, or moist.

The salmon was extremely fresh, not frozen, and it was quite a large piece.

The chicken's sauce and the salmon sauce was the same, both were sweet, and without that i think it'd make a huge difference.

For additional $1, I got myself a Chawanmushi. YOU HAVE To get their chawanmushi, it's extremely soft and tender, not so oily, and I love the Shitake mushroom that made it very fragrant!

This stall sells very crispy tempura. It is really value for money. The tempura are fried on the spot and it uses the freshest prawns to make. You can either choose to eat it with or without noodle. Japanese Cuisine has always one of my top three favorite cuisines. With that, of course being in a food court and surrounded by many various choices, I took my choice and settled for the Japanese stall. Ordered the teriyaki chicken rice set that came with a bowl of miso soup. Teriyaki chicken in food courts has always been consistent, or so it applies to me so far, the chicken is crispy and tasty with the sweet teriyaki sauce. The Japanese rice grains are crunchy and go well with the miso soup.
