It was a hot day today. I went to the hawker centre to find some cold dessert and stumble upon this stall. The menu looked extensive and the prices were affordable. I ordered a cold Cheng Teng at $1.50.The Cheng Teng had more ingredients than I thought. There was sweet potato in the Cheng Teng soup and the usual sago, barley, white fungus, etc. What I found missing was the dried persimmon. But this Cheng Teng was quite filling to the stomach due to the sweet potato. Overall, this Cheng Teng was

Overall, this Cheng Teng was cheap and good. Nevertheless the Cheng Teng was refreshing and thrist quenching for me.

I love both dessert in Western-style and also Traditional-style, everybody could hardly resist it I believe. Came to a Chinese stall nearby office, we took a short break to eat something energetic. Numerous types of dessert was displayed on Menu, it was not an easy job for ladyboss alone to prepare so much varieties. Brightly visible stall at the corner, it was eye-catching. This would be the cheapest dessert sold in town, price started from $1.00 for most of the hot sweet soup. Self-service bas

Tau Suan was a mushy mess, chewiness was always the playful part. Came along with few pieces of fritters, the mix was perfect. If you asked me, Tapioca Coconut Milk was good idea to share otherwise it was greasy towards the end. Both desserts were $1.00, too cheap to treat yourself a hearty decent snack during tea break.

There was only one dessert stall in Wet Market Lorong 4 Toa Payoh and it was famous. Selling a huge range of sweeties’ choices, the ladyboss was very friendly. This is merely a simple upgraded version from a normal Ice Kacang, I requested ladyboss to add-on one scoop of ice-cream on the top, and she said it was only special for me. The taste was robust and intense. Freshly Corns, Red Beans and Grass Jelly, it was finely enough. One bowl costed me $1.80.
