Megumi Japanese Restaurant (Closed)

Megumi is a small Japanese restaurant in the Siglap area. The Temaki Bento Set is my favourite there as the set comes complete with 3 Temaki handrolls (California, Soft Shell Crab, Cucumber), a generous portion of sashimi, salad, miso soup and Chawanmushi, for only 20.90. Another dish I like is their Chicken Hot Stone Bowl, which is somewhat similar to claypot rice only served in a hot stone bowl with chicken, chestnuts, ginko nuts and mushrooms. It is exceptionally flavorful.

I've been to Megumi many times as it is just outside my house. I must say, this place is crowded every night! Despite being crowded, service is quick and efficient. The salmon sashimi comes in 5 thick slices and are really fresh. (5 slices for $10)What I enjoy most at Megumi has got to be their fried rice. Any kind of fried rice they serve is awesome!
