We were lucky to be there where it had live bands every Wednesday to Friday. It was actually a Irish Pub, locate d at Boat Quay area. Dishing out great food, beer also music, it offered a sociable and lively atmosphere. Tangy flavour went very well with the battered fish, it was deep-fried until golden in colour. Firmer version, it had crispy outlay and melt-in-your-mouth texture for Dory Fish flesh. I like to have it long with Tartar Sauce and ad drizzle of Lemon. Satisfied with the huge serving, the price was reasonable too. continue reading

Haddock fish & chips Spegetti Wing ZingAfter research few website "Best Fish & Chip in Singapore", Molly Malone's appear that their fish & chip is the BEST, so decided to drop by Molly Malone's for dinner with my loved ones, celebrating birthday...The Fish & Chips were pretty good, except some pieces had a little too much batter than fish. I personally loved the fat fries, generous amount!! But my loved one prefer Fish & Chip from Fish & Co. instead of this... Mmmm!!The Spaghetti was nice and rich with a large amount of yummy cheese on top...The Wing Zing never disappoint me, crispy!! yummy!!Definitely a nice pub to relax, chat, and enjoy some good food and drinks. continue reading

Molly Malone is an Irish pub along boat quay, right at the end of the street. Its rather quiet earlier in the night when i went over around 8pm for Fish and Chips. The portion was really huge, my friend and i shared a plate. The fish wasn't very fresh and i had to use lots of dips to finish it. The fries were thick cut fries, which are my favourite type of fries. We did not order any drinks however, as the prices of the non alcoholic drinks were rather expensive and both of us drove so we couldn't have the beer. Service was quite bad however. Once more people started streaming in for beer around 9 plus, the waitress came over and basically chased us off by presenting us with the bill. I guess its because we didn't order any drinks? But im sure there's a more polite way to do it. Air conditioning there was also not very strong, we were practically sweating throughout our meal. continue reading

I ordered the tiger crystal beer at a promotion. One bucket for just $50 and you get free macho cheese and also a snack. The nacho cheese is amazingly good. I requested for more cheese and it charged me an additional of $2 !! A first it said $1, but then they came back to me saying that it is one dollar more. I was angry because if i had known it's $2, i may not have ordered it already. No matter what, the food is good. I had a nice seat to enjoy the soccer that night with my friends. I had a quiet corner. The other side, the fans were cheering and talking loudly among themselves about the soccer match. Overall is good. I would go back there again. continue reading

A very nice place to chillout. It has a two levels. Most people settle at the ground level. Thus the second level is quite "exclusive" because basically, we had the whole level to ourselves most of the time. We went there for dinner and chillout. Ordered some finger food and non alcoholic drinks. We have 4 persons in total and the bill came up to slightly more than a hundred for the items as shown in the pic. The fish and chips is nice and comes in huge servings. continue reading
