Mr & Mrs Fish Soup - Koufu (Closed)

Not only their sliced fish and deep fried fish soup are the signature dishes here, you must also not miss out their boiled dumplings too. The dumpling skins are very smooth and easy to swallow. Generous amount of minced meat and chopped parsley can be found in the dumplings which are very fragrant and moist in texture. Dip in their home made chilli sauce will certainly enhanced the taste of it.

The soup here is clear and abit sweet but not extremely fragrant. The deep fried fish meat is fresh and tender but would be good if is bigger in size. Not much excitement for their chilli sauce. Overall not too bad but could have been better if there are a few sliced yam or other special ingredients in it. My verdict: 6.5/10

Was wondering what to eat for dinner and walked past this stall. Previously i had tried before their fried fish bee hoon and found it to be alright so decided to try their mee hoon kuay this time round. It isn't too bad, i quite like their soup as it was quite flavourful and not as bland too. Together with chili padi, it made my dinner a pleasant one and not forgetting it kept me filled too.
