Old Chang Kee's beef stew($3.50) is one of my favourite dishes! Their beef stew is filled with carrots and radish and the vegetables are actually more delicious than the beef itself!. The carrots and radish after being stewed for so long, absorbs the taste of the sauce. When you bite into them, they are very juicy and the juice with the sauce is just delicious. The beef is tender and tears apart easily. Delicious!

I have a craving for curry puff but doctor has advised not to take any spicy food. So what should I do? At the stall I ponder awhile and decide to buy a chicken mushroom puff. It costs $1.40. It looks like a curry puff but do not have spicy filling. Instead it is filled with potatoes and carrots, as well as, chicken and button mushrooms, which is quite similar to chicken pie's filling. A worthy replacement, except for the amount of filling and the crispiness of the puff.

Buying finger food from Old Chang Kee, I was craving for something to eat. When you decided to buy food from here, one thing good was you may pick and choose whatever snacks you want to eat. I bought these, Spring Roll and some Fried Snacks. I brought back home to eat since there were no seats available for customers at the stall. Nice right? I also join in to get something for breakfast.Chicken Mushroom Puff ($1.40)It is a non spicy version of the famed chicken curry puff, filled with chicken cubes, button mushroom, carrot cubes and potato cubes. You could also view chicken pie in a puff version. Somehow feel that the filling has reduced a lot. Skin not as crispy as before.

Nasi lemak - rice really nice and flavored with coconut milk . The fish cake is normal - chewy . The sausage is also very normal. The chili could be made more spicy instead of sweet.Fish ball - normal. But taste great with a lot of chili sauce.  Pineapple pie - may be able to fight with mcdonald's apple pie. This pie is much smaller and cost 20 cent more when compared to mcd's. Their crust made are similar with short texture. The fillings are really nice as well. Love both of them !

When the ikan bilis, peanuts and chili are added together and eaten with the rice, it is really really tasty. This is just how most singaporeans eat their nasi lemak, aint they?

been craving for this..bought glutinous rice & mee siam..it came with 2 packs of sambal chilli,previously it didn't..the glutinous ricecame with fried onion & peanuts..so it has a very nice fragrant.. yummy!next, we go to the mee siam the mee siam 'gravy' is sweet and slight spicy,came with half of the egg,has some peanuts too.the bee hoon isn't too hard or soggy,simply in love with it after eating!

I always buy it when i happened to shop at North point.The well friend crunchy outer crust is just so irresistible and the rich fillings in it, yummy ! The fillings mainly consist of curry potatoes as well as quarter of hard-boiled egg. The price is cheap too, around 1.20 for one large curry o. worth it!

I think the prawn nugget they do put real prawn in it together with flour. As for the crab i can't really tell whether it's flour with some crab meat or just flavoured flour. Anyway it's still really nice and comparable with crab nugget! This is recommend to grab and go kind of food

old chang kee breakfast - glutinous rice!Glutinous rice is steam to perfect texture, rice grain is individually, crystal clear, not too soft nor hard, dancing in between your teeth! Fried onion, I would guess it is prepared by their own, they are fresh and not burnt, crumble not mashed. Peanut is soft and creamy. Overall, taste is just right, you could still taste the rice natural sweetness and yet mildly saltiness, combination of all these ingredients enhance each flavour, perfect match.

This is mainly just a general review of old chang kee and some of my recommendations yeah~ firstly, I have to say that old chang kee does the best curry puffs, good pastry, yummy fillings, a hot favourite there for sure! moving on, I like their tempura prawns, in fact my sister loves it, due to its batter and delectable crunch, even when it's soggy it still tastes good I like their fried squid, as it is chewy and crunchy, but honestly, it's oily! :x One last thing, chicken wings and cheese ball
