This is a great place for beer and food. They have a wide selection of beer and almost everything we've ordered on the menu were delicious. We had the crispy silver fish, cajun flavoured fries, golden onion rings, beef cheeks, lamb shank, fish & chips, duck confit and prawn pasta. We liked almost every dish, except the lamb shank which we felt would be nicer if the meat were cooked enough such that they'd fall smoothly off the bones and prawn pasta which was nice but ordinary (ie. nothing much to

Will be back for more. Only complaint was the service - somehow the bar tender didn't seem too welcoming. Only had him and the waitress but it was a slow Sunday without much customers. Not sure how they'd cope with a full house.

The Food
I ordered Tomato Soup, Grilled Chicken with Portabella Mushrooms and Brownie and Ice Cream to complete my meal.
The Tomato Soup is tasty and nice and has a strong tomato taste as if like drinking tomato puree juice. This appetizer dish whets up my appetite and goes very well with the focaccia bread.
As for the Grilled Chicken, is very tasty and is grilled with perfect timing. The skin is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The texture is one of the better ones I have tasted and the Portabella Mushrooms makes the dish with a fragrant mushroom taste. Instead of the usual fries, the side dishes, pan fried cucumber and baby potatoes makes the dish a healthier choice.
Lastly, I had my Brownie and ice cream as my dessert. The Brownie is warm, soft and not too sweet and goes quite well with the vanilla ice cream. What a heavenly dessert to end the meal with!!

The Price
Reasonably priced at $30++ for the whole bill

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

This hidden bar and bistro place is quietly located at the outside corner of the Valley Point's shopping mall. They serve a whole variety of beers, mostly imported from oversea that you could hardly find elsewhere in Singapore. Hence if you are a big beer fans, you know where to go. There's also a big TV screen inside the bistro that you could watch sports while sipping on the chilled beer. I'm not very into beer, but I quite like Anker boscoli ($11). I'm not very into beer, but I quite like Anker boscoli ($11). It's a fruity beer, not overly gassy. Apart from tasting the fruity flavour, you still have this beer after taste. The whole fragrant is good. The alcohol content is less than 4%, very ladies-friendly.

For starter, we have the Pan-seared Scallops ($14), which served carrot puree and chef's garnish such as crunchy asparagus and beans. To be honest, I think the scallops are frozen type, that doesn't have much of the fresh seafood taste. Carrot puree is Ok, at least it adds some of the flavour to the scallops.

Roasted thymed chicken ($20), served with mushroom and jus. The meat is tender and juicy, good texture but it's a bit under-seasoned. The gravy helps a bit, but not by much.

Crispy duck confit ($28) on the other hand, is slightly too salty. The skin is crispy and the meat is not overly dry, which is yummy. The saltiness is bearable, and quite alright when eating with fennel and apple salad. the apple salad is yummy, very refreshing and delicious.
