Pasta de Waraku (Closed)

Spicy fish roe & potato pizzathe fusion of JApanese and italian style cuisine~This is a mini one, accompanied with the set lunch..The crust is quite thin, but the cheese is really a lot, covering the whole surface..the fish roe with mayonaise is quite match with the potato, so its quite a creative idea!

i went for a school gathering to pasta de waraku. since it was a big group of us, we ordered different kinds of their pasta to share. i am a cream base lover, their cream sauce is really delicious. it is not too thick and heavy, the kind that makes you sick after a few mouths. their cream sauce is very light and settles well with the spaghetti. they are very generous with their ingredients as well. i am very satisfied with their food.

There are no food photos as it was simply too disappointing to bother.Venue: Easily located in convenient location at Iluma. However the seating is BAD. They place you in whatever spot is convenient for the staff, instead of your preference. It's a big place but they only opened up a quarter of the place, cramming everyone into that one quarter space. The lighting is super bright so you are almost blinded. Pasta de Waraku is a pasta haven for all the pasta lovers out there. It has a wide variety of pasta selection in all kinds of styles and sauces. I tried their seafood pasta in tomato base and it was good! The tomato base had the light taste of spices that made the dish unique.The tomato was tangy in a way that I liked it. The food that i found in Pasta de Waraku food is normally nice presented on the plate and the taste is delicious. The display of the pasta on the walls is always attractive for me. I’ve tried their fried calamari, nice to go with the mayonnaise. I like the herbs on the crispy crust of the calamari. Good for sharing if you find yourself is lazy to chew all calamari by your own. Tucked at a corner of iluma, I dropped by here for a quick business lunch.Ordered several pasta to be shared around, and I guess overall everything was decent, but none is outstanding that deserve a proper review.Perhaps the minced beef Kimchi pasta which caught my attention the most. The rest I'll pass.Pricing over there was typical casual dining cost. Average out to be $15.00++ per pax.Environment is nice since there were not much people around.Service waitress was pretty attentive.

I am officially addicted to Waraku's pasta, the creamy taste of the spaghetti noodles plus the nice smooth sauce or soup base and yet it feels very healthy eating it. A great place to have lunch or dinner once in a while, especially their pasta and service is definitely worth its price. Last but not least, Waraku is having lots of promotion for the students or debit/credit card holders with more discounts for its delicious food.

Lovely food there, no wonder it has so many branches! Their series of creamy pasta is a must try, and there is even extra cheese provided if you love a more cheesy taste. Even though the crab meat is not really tender... I love the prawns though!
