This stall had one of the shortest queue, so I decided to make my order there since I had only 30 minutes to spare. I got the fish porridge which costs $4.50. There are shredded ginger added on the top of the porridge for eating together with the porridge. I think ginger serves to remove the fishy taste from fish. At first when I got the porridge, I was quite worried as I did not see any fish at all from the surface of the bowl, but I realised later upon mixing that it is all at the bottom of the bowl. The porridge is smooth and it is of the right consistency, not too overly thick or watery. The slices of fish do not have the fishy taste which is great as I am very sensitive to the fishy stench. The porridge, although it looks plain, is already adequately flavoured hence there is no need for additional sauce. To be very frank, I don't really see what is so special about this porridge, I think it is quite average.

Another Malaysian Food Street you must try when you are at Sentosa. As expected to see long Q. Order their Fish Porridge...Heathly choice. $4.50 for their Fish Porridge. Petaling Street is a place in malaysia that have nice porridge. Hope it true. And Yes. The porridge at this stall. They have very smooth, texture porridge. The fish slices inside is very fresh. No fishy smell. With abit of soya sauce added in, the taste is wonderful. Lik,e to have more of it when I there again.

Those whom are feeling under the weather, with elderly, or kids-- this is a good choice as it's quite a hassle-free dish to choose. There was barely a line for the store and hence the food could be obtained quickly. We didn't think the Raw Fish Porridge would mean that the Fish would be served separately on another plate. Luckily, my friend and I are okay with sashimi.Put the fish slices into the porridge, and the slices would cook due to the heat of the porridge. The porridge was thick and you w

The porridge was thick and you were not able to taste the individual rice pieces--perfect! The sauce they provided was also not full of soy sauce, hence no need to be afraid of over-saltiness.

I ailing throat felt quite soothed after this bowl or congee.

Yet another highlight at the Malaysian Food Street is Petaling Street Famous Porridg. There are a number of porridge with different various condiments to choose from. I settled for Liver porridge ($4.50). The porridge from this stall is made from 3 kinds of rice grains simmered in both chicken and pork broth to achieve its flavour. The porridge has a nice consistency and texture, not too thick and not too watery. There are also generous portions of liver slices inside.
