This is one of the popular stalls at the round market where you are expected to queue for atleast 15 minutes before your turn! I usually eat their pork ribs prawn noodles but this time, I decided to try something different which is their handmade meatball noodles. This is the only item on their menu without any prawns added in. They give you six meatballs in your bowl of noodles and I like the texture of it! The standard is on par with their prawn noodles and it is definitely worth trying! ;)

There is always a long queue at this prawn noodle stall.I waited for almost twenty minutes before ordering a bowl of pig's kidney with mee sua. There were many slices of fresh pig kidney blanched in hot water and served with mee sua using prawn broth as the soup base served with generous amount of grounded pepper and lots of deep fried onions. The soup was tasty and the slices of pig's kidney were very fresh and crunchy and not overcooked. Pig's kidneys are not a popular dish with many people d

There is always a long queue at this prawn noodle stall.

I waited for almost twenty minutes before ordering a bowl of pig's kidney with mee sua.

There were many slices of fresh pig kidney blanched in hot water and served with mee sua using prawn broth as the soup base served with generous amount of grounded pepper and lots of deep fried onions. The soup was tasty and the slices of pig's kidney were very fresh and crunchy and not overcooked.

Pig's kidneys are not a popular dish with many people due to the pungent smell. Proper cleaning will minimized the smell. It is time consuming to prepare this dish.

For the price of $5.00 I think its worth the value just to dine out rather than spending hours cleaning the pig's kidney.

Pig’s kidneys are not a popular ingredient with many people as it smells pungent like pee. Proper cleaning minimizes the smell of urine in a dish. I actually don’t find it that hard to prepare, maybe time consuming but it’s easy.

I tried their Pork Ribs Prawn Noodle soup before which I like it very much as the soup was so flavourful and the pork ribs were so tender. Anyway, this time I tried the dry version of their normal prawn noodles and it was equally good! I had it with tomato sauce and it was a satisfying lunch!

This is my first time trying this stall and I heard their specialty is the Pork Ribs Prawn Noodles! I can't believe I have not tried this stall here before as the prawn noodles are really good! The broth is so flavourful! The meat of the pork ribs are so tender and the prawns, even though small in size, they are juicy! Besides the pork ribs prawn noodles, they also sell the normal prawn noodles, pig's viscera noodles, kidney meesua etc. I shall try the others next time! ;)

Colleague was in the mood, so he drove us out to Tampines market to buy lunch. Upon reaching, we saw 2 stalls with snake long queue, we decide to give one of them a try since most of us have the "got queue means good" mentality Between both, we decide on this stall cos colleagues wanted to try the prawn noodle with pork ribs while I have the prawn noodle with pig's intestine. Between both, we decide on this stall cos colleagues wanted to try the prawn noodle with pork ribs while I have the prawn noodle with pig's intestine. Quite disappointing cos although prawns are fresh & sweet, the pig's intestine was not washed thoroughly, thus having this bitter taste & smell. The noodles although springy, it has this super string yest smell.

This can be considered as one of my most frequently eaten dish. I love the zhu char kway teow here! The kway teow is the thin kind, it is smooth but yet offers a really nice bite. The soup is wonderful, probably simmered many hours in pork bone and prawn heads. The soup is full bodied, very flavourful add a dose of chili powder and it becomes perfect. Generous portion of kidney, pig's heart, pork, intestine and pig skin. If you are into eating the innards, this is the perfect bowl of noodles for
