Ordered a bowl of Pontian wanton noodles which consisted of fried wantons and non-fried wantons. The wantons were quite small but tasty. The skin was thin and so the meat inside was not masked by any thick skin. The noodles were very flavourful too - mildly sweet and spicy at the same time. The texture of the noodles was quite Q tasted even better with the mixing of the gravy. It is also cheaper at $2.80 as compared to outlets in shopping malls. continue reading

The surrounding of this Hawker centre was under construction. It was quite crowded because it was dinner time. Long queues were seen in front of quite a number of the popular stores. I had no idea what to eat so I let my hubby made the choice. As excepted, he bought his favourite Pontian Wanton Noodle. I didn't realise there was a branch here. I have always been eating at the one in the Hawker centre opposite West Coast Plaza. Hmm. Taste similar to the other one. QQ noodle, spicy chilli, crispy wantons. There was even one boiled type wanton in the soup. Great meal. continue reading

This particular stall does not only offer nice Malaysian style wanton noodle but really nice fried wantons too. It is a must order side to go along with their wanton noodle and even if i am not having the wanton noodle, i will still order and have it as snack. Their fried wantons have been one of the nicest so far. The skin of their wantons is slightly thinner than usual, so when fried it perfectly, it has an awesome crispiness coupled with tasty filling. The filling has a nice taste of dried flat fish which enhanced the overall flavor. Recommended. continue reading
