Perhaps there are professional reasons.

Nevertheless, their menu did not change. In fact there are a few new items.
Other than the Chicken rice and Chicken noodle, the Salted Fish Fried Rice and the Braised Hokkien Noodle (without pork) are our favourite dishes. The Baby Kailan with garlic is another must-have.

The Salted Fish Fried Rice (as the name implies) contains generous amounts of sliced salted fish, tiny prawns, egg and vegetables. Every mouthful is full of flavour and great taste. The Braised Hokkien Noodle contains a generous amount of seafood such as sliced fish, prawn and squid. The Baby Kailan with garlic complements the other two dishes well. In fact it goes well with most of the other dishes, be it the rice or noodle dishes, even the Chicken Rice.

The prices are a little steep, but the portions are slightly above average, so it is ok to come here once in a fortnight or a month. Perhaps the prices could be readjusted or the portions could be made slightly bigger .

Visited Pow Sing at close to their closing time; so there was no more Signature Chicken Rice left. Decided to order from the menu instead. This newly re -renovated restaurant
reopened a few months ago - in the same location, but with a new look that makes take-away more accessible.
We tried the Signature Bee Hoon and Fried Hor Fun - both with seafood.
The Bee Hoon was lightly stir-fried in a special sauce that made the dish very tasty indeed.
At one glance, it looked like simple soup noodles, but upon tasting, it was really something else. It was wet but not soupy. It was filled with wholesome vegatables, seafood and fried egg. So it was kind of an in-between of wet and dry noodles.
The Fried Hor Fun was equally good - not too dry or oily.
There was a generous amount of seafood and it tasted great with green chilli.
Overall the two dishes were great, except that the portion was a little smaller than what we had received pre - re -renovation.
Price-wise, it was a little expensive, when compared with other similar set-ups.
The only problem would be the difficulty in communicating with the ''I can't speak English!''
waitresses. It was really an uphill task trying to tell her that we wanted only seafood.
Hopefully something could be done about that in the future.
All said and done, I will definitely be back for more!

To me Pow Sing chicken is the Local equivalent of KFC!!
Wanted to try the Chicken Noodles - with their signature roast chicken - and I didn't regret my choice.
The chicken slices were juicy and succulent.
The dish came with healthy Chicken soup.
We also had their signature Lime Juice - that went well with the meal.
The mixed vegetables with mushroom was very nutritious and tasty, especially because it had a generous amount of celery. The crunchy celery and soft mushroom gave the dish an added difference to its taste.
The service was quick and you can make special requests, which will be accommodated to, as much as possible.
I will definitely be back for more Noodles.

The Fried Rice tasted fabulous - the salted fish added a unique flavour to it.
The vegetables were fresh and when eaten piping hot, full of wholesome goodness.
The Sweet and Sour fish contained generous portions of fish and wasnt too sweet or sour, just right!
The Claypot Hokkien Noodles contained a good variety of seafood.
Overall, all the dishes were huge portions and good value for money.
The staff were very friendly and always ready to help.
There is flexibility in the menu - they served Sweet and Sour Fish, instead of pork, upon request. I feel that is really important for a local restaurant like Pow Sing Kitchen.
Will definitely go back to try the other dishes.
