Recently, I heard that Putien at City Square Mall is no longer serving buffet lunch. What a miss! My family and I lunched at PuTien, the one at CitySquare Mall. As it was a weekend, the queue was super long! Thank god we made reservations before hand. The food was pretty decent but its rather expensive for frequent visits! Love the complimentary abalone set they served. We had many items to choose from the menu as well as items for self-service. The prawns, fish and soup were good. The only thing I felt they ought to improve on was the desserts..they should have more variety like a chocolate

We went there for a dinner buffet. I would suggest you to call and reserve before visiting them. The food is ala carte and served hot. The customer service is good. Quite a wide selection of food for dinner (Subsequently, i went for the lunch buffet. Slightly lesser selections.). One thing that i do not like is, the food is serve in standard serving and the serving size is around 2-3 person's share. Thus advised to go together in groups of 4 so that you can savour all the dishes.

I had Pu Tien for a long time even before they became commercialized and did their renovations because my grandma is a Hock chiew and this place serves authentic Hock chiew food. It has since become very modern (Valet parking), contemporary design and has even opened several branches.
